All right dude, keep on grinding, I had to grind 2nl as well, last time I did so was in January this year when I had 9$ as my poker balance and owed 20$ to a fellow poker player from cc. But I kept on playing and I am now crushing 20nl and 30nl on 888 and hopefully will soon take another shot at 50nl.

1 tip for you, if you had it bad with the tilt, don't check your cashier. I sometimes go for weeks before I check out how much I have. This allows you to focus on your poker and not on your results.

Yeah I might try to start doing that sounds like a plan

No variance would mean no fish, so its just something the good players need to take on the chin...I wish I could win every hand I play and I always think I am entitled to win it haha, but the more I play and hear about variance the more I accept it and understand it....aslong as we have an edge on the player pool we should be able to do ok I think...

Thats a really good way of looking at it.

Just raise pre??? reason for flatting was because he was pretty lagtard and if I hit an ace without much aggression he was going to bluff everything and probably give me a stack, though this hand he played quite passive

AK hand - totally fine to keep firing vs that station, just unlucky that he caught up OTR.

AQ hand - flatting pre is fine. Good that you barreled the river after betting the turn.

Yeah it was funny though, as soon as I saw the Q I auto thought that he hit two pair, couldnt miss the value though, he just lucked out I guess

Hands are fine. He still calls you with his KT and KJ in the first one.

Second hand I would be tempted to 3-bet to try and isolate the CO, however with the raiser being UTG it would vary greatly on how he would react. TBH this can go either way. You played it well postflop.

Well no interesting hands really, variance is still sticking around though, Even though I only lost a dollar the whole session pretty card dead and when I get a hand get no action, Oh well played pretty solid poker so im happy.

Only thing that is confusing me are the min donk bets?
A lot of the time I will re raise them but when they come over the top I dont really know where I stand. Are fish doing this with TPWK or middle pairs or what?
I hate these min donkbets haha any ideas?

H1 - Fine, you have TPTK and can certainly barrel for value

H2 - His range is pretty wide...weaker pairs, Ax, Qx, Jx, Tx. I think your plan to c/f the river is good.

H3 - Bet flop smaller imo, like 14c or 15c, then ramp it up a bit on the turn. Checking is bad with the FD there.

H1 good spot for value. Bet until raised.

H2 I probably don't even bet that flop, with him being a shortstack I doubt he is folding anything that actually connected. I just check down with my SDV, besides you don't want him to fold an A-high as you beat it. I think checking it down just saves you money in this marginal situation.

H3 I make it .15 there, same as I would if I had missed the flop. **** the fancy play syndrome, just bet/bet/bet when you have it. A lot of the time you won't get anymore in the pot, but I would rather win a little than lose even the most miniscule amount.

H4 I probably value raise the turn. On the flop you have no idea if he has a weak Q/6/flush draw, however you call because you beat some of his range, on the turn it is unlikely he has a 6 or he would be blasting on you. If he turned top two, the exact same. A weak Q is still a possibility but not as likely as a flush draw looking to give itself good odds to draw. Besides raising the turn allows you to check back the river if the flush draw missed so if he has a Q and calls you won't get river valued. I make it .25/.30 OTT.
