Yeah I agree, I like the check back tbh.
I think im leaning towards like a small river bet? get value from worse Qs or fold out weak Aces maybe???

its far more likely that neither of these happen, far more likely to bet with QK but i think we block most of the hands we want value from so i check back

First hand, check back the turn - you don't get many folds. As played on river I think I just call.

2nd hand, flat or fold pre imo. Check back river - I think you played optimally after pre flop.

This is probably true. Check back is probably most profitable in this spot

Fishy Reg, calls of fairly light so can value him easily but not sure if river bet is too thin?

Ehh, still debating in my mind if I want to continue with poker. As some of you may of seen in the "microcrushers thread" this has already been spoken about and a break was proposed. I think I will be taking a break and then re assessing.
P.S this is not a "im loosing rage quit!", Im winning! which is fun but the game of poker seems to sometimes affect me in ways I do not enjoy so im debating wether or not to continue.
Any advice or talks are welcome, and just because im not getting in volume im still lurking cc

In not sure but I think it's because you are treating it too seriously. Losing money or winning money doesn't matter, winning at poker isn't a qualifying factor for your self worth. Like its a fun hobby, when you think that I pay 10hour to play basketball it's a very cheap hobby. Whether you win or not doesn't matter, don't force volume, quit when you feel like it, don't obsess and try compartmentalise it from the rest f your life. My poker results are completely separated from my life success and happiness. I dunno how much of that applies but just my thoughts

Possibly true Duggs will for sure look into that side of things.
Though just went through a browse of my PT and apparently running 22Bis below EV and still winning? Possible that may be a small reason why poker gets to me haha? No idea.
Anyways just still having a break but been watching some poker and enjoying watching and reading but still not that interested in putting in decent volume as of yet.

Sometimes you just don't feel like grinding I know. No point playing poker when you aren't up for it. So just take it easy for a while and start playing again when you are feel like it.

P.S Obviously you can crush if you are that far below EV and still winning so don't let the results get to you

consequence of turnover, playing poker means not only win but lose and learn from our mistakes.

Not sure what you mean, since he clearly said he's been winning?

Slowly getting back into the grind. Nothing serious yet, and wont be grinding this weekend because been with GF for two years now so doing something fancy haha.

Really been considering playing live instead of online lately as I have always enjoyed it more (out with humans and interacting instead of dendy with a computer screen). So if I can get some sort of a roll sorted for that I will try make that a reality.
