Line checks & sizing please. Just blasting some zoom during Christmas holidays, don't have much time for much else but think I'm being to nitty in spots and overly aggressive in others.

All zoom.

You're not repping anything in the A7o hand. Other than that I think they're fine.

I have somehow been completely oblivious to these cash threads...

Such sad.

Wow. Such sad. Much cry.

Congrats cafe!!

I'm currently on something like a 10-15 BI downswing myself (haven't actually looked at PT4). Running pretty shitty, but also just been playing really badly (getting it in with top two vs a nitty player who 3bet the turn - I literally called out his hand before 4bet jamming the turn in disgust). I have this theory that I play terrible when on vacation.

This is an annoying spot. I usually don't raise donk bets when it's so dry but given his min donk bet, call behind I felt I needed more value from those worse pair hands. Given CO's flat and orginal donk bet raising again, I guess I have to fold which seems ridiculous to me but in general I'm like what's the absolute best thing to do here? Sure I can call I guess given price and if one has 2x/88/22 or a slow played JJ/QQ/AA whatever or randomly raising 8x or worse pairs it's then I just feel these spots once I call, I've got absolutely no idea how to proceed any turn that isn't a K and there's likely a very good chance he's going to barrel the turn so then what, call/fold? I then feel once I've called turn, I'll have to call river.

Fold I guess?

HAND 1

Well, turn decision for me would depend on villain history. It'd be difficult to fold a set after a check around on the flop, but his turn bet sizing looks value bet-ish. He also might bet the flop with any strong hand worse than a straight on such a wet board.

As played, call river. The board paired, which is best case scenario for your hand at this point (besides quads, obviously).

HAND 2

Sigh fold, I guess. Really fishy line by villain.

Fold pre.

As played...W T F!!! The pot is $32 and you jam your stack in?? What is the goal of a shove here? Aside from setting yourself up to stack off to better hands in a $32 pot, you're essentially making sure you get as little value as possible from worse hands.

I don't bet turn when villain 4 bets pre I give him AK AQ suited, and his cbet on flop was 38$ as well as his 4bet pre of 38$ so I peel flop in pos with QQ obv shutting down if he fires again on turn because villain can always have JJ KK or AA here aswell when firing turn but he checks so I check back. Id like to know peoples thoughts on me firing turn here? I am not sure, I don't really want him folding when hes showing strength and betting once I hit my set on turn. Is my check bad here on turn should I have bet? We win the pot anyways but Ive been thinking about this spot for awhile and would like to know peoples thoughts?

Makes it obvious to any thinking player that you have no bluffs. I mean you'd bet the turn with pure floats right? I guess in 4-bet pots it's not as relevant but still.

I mean I personally like to ch back turn bet river as bluffs a lot because some people actually use that logic.

That said just bet the turn it's not like he has any bluffcatchers that will fold turn but call river. Plus he just always has KK+ so may as well dodge scare cards that let him fold.

I think you have to bet the turn simply because we want to give him ridiculous odds to call off on the river.

Many roads to getting his stack in.

Small turn bet is gonna let him think weird shit and probably get it in on that turn. Oddly he might actually figure out you hit your set if you offer a small turn bet but will not if you go bigger, or check it for the river kill.

Against same reg, you would hope to be able to show him multiple ways that you can accomplish the same results.
