Who Taught You How to Play?

In poker I came in 2013 poker stars, threw in $ 11 and started the cash game, for two weeks I won $ 200, I was happy and lost for one week, I did not play at all at all, I studied video lessons, watched the professionals play, I opened my poker channel on YouTube.
Now, I believe that my game in + is due to video poker lessons and my patience.

I was searching for a really good game to play, so I discovered poker and learned to play from poker sites. Then I learned more from the poker games themselves and continue to gather experiences!

My whole family loves Poker and all other cards games. When we get together it always ends up in a card game till all hours of the night. My kids are better at poker than me.

My brother introduced me to poker when i was about 12 years old, was a client called noble poker at the time, where i would watch him play for play chips. However he didnt thought me how to play, besides watching him i investigated the game myself i learnt on my own

My first days in poker I owe them friends of the adolescence in my neighborhood they taught me the rules of the game and spend very pleasant times.
We met on weekends to play our pot of money and drink a few beers as weird those days hehehe.

Nobody taught me to play poker, I taught myself on the Internet, watching videos and reading books on poker.

I thought myself from TV and books. I try to play with my friends when I was in my late teens but none of us had a clue or even heard of hold'em. We played some type of 5 card draw. We only pushed the coins around the table to each other, back and forth. I always wanted to play poker but until the boom then I find that desire again.

when i was around 5 years old my uncle taught me how to play 5 card draw. It wasn't until highschool when i learned texas holdem NL. My friend taught me how to play Texas holdem. I really like 5 card draw with deuces wild though.

my first steps were at school were my best friend showed me the first steps.then my uncle taught me some thinks and ofcourse i hace read a lot!

Here in brazil, especially in my city, poker was still not very well known. But one day my cousin introduced me to the game and since then I've been trying to learn every day and professionalize myself in this game. If I can make a day between three and four thousand dollars a month, that's fine. Well, I learned from my cousin.

In my case this game never had in common with someone close.

I got to know him through television and it started as a hobby, I did not even know how to play it, I learned with time and become interested more every day.

I've been practicing for about 10 years but I've been doing it for about 5 years with real money.

I started watching on TV, mainly in Pokerstar; Then I played in college and now I'm playing at the tables of Pokerstar, every day you learn new things.

I taught to play poker myself. It was computer laser disk with poker, omaha, stad.
Than it was Pokerstradegy site in my poker life.
But the more I know poker, the more modest my results.

That's easy, my opponents of course! The better opponents showed me what to do, while the worse ones showed me what not to do.

Other than that, any resource I can use to sharpen my skills such as online videos, books written by pros, and literally anyone that teaches me perspective of plays.

Friday night tourney with friends, and then watching poker championships online really put me in a better poker-playing made. Watching how the "stars" did it was really helping in how I played good and bad cards. I have learned that position means a lot when it comes to betting and calling.

I had a friend at work who was really into statistics -- he taught me the basics and we would often play on breaks. There's a casino not from our town and we'll play low buy-in games sometimes.
