Say what you want about him, but Phil Hellmuth never fails to impress — or cause controversy — at the WSOP. Over the past week, Hellmuth won his 16th career bracelet and came just one spot away from claiming #17 just a few days later. His performance has put him in the lead for the WSOP Player of the Year award, but that doesn’t mean he has the spotlight all to himself, as a number of other players had strong weeks — and impressive performances of their own — on the felt.
