I don't mind playing with rebuys, it gives me the opportunity to wait for a good hand and win prizes in the tournament. I try to play in tournaments in which I can afford to make 3-4 rebuys, and I am already looking at the tournament and the players should I return to the game or not. With or without rebuys, you need to play those tournaments that will not destroy your bankroll.

I was just curious do you like rebuys or do you hate rebuys?

Do you prefer a MTT with rebuys or Freeze out?

Is there an advantage for rebuys?

Do you need to have more poker skills in freeze outs?

I almost want to avoid rebuys myself as people go all in and call with anything and the rebuy right back in.

Now for the pros they probably say that makes the payout better.

But when you have AA and they have 76s and call an all in raise and hit two pair and take you down, now you have to rebuy or be me at what happened. If I rebir seems like I never recover in the same tournament.

Please give me any tips you may have and how does your bankroll handle those?

Should I just stick to freezeouts or do you recommend that I truly try to get good at rebuys, not that I am any good at freeze outs.....Lol
I advise you to play Freezeout strategy in all types of poker, be it Freezeout or Rebuy, then you will not have to rebuy much, and if you get angry or fall into the trap of badbeat, you should quit immediately. Don't be bothered by the way the opponents play, it's normal, some of them keep putting their full effort into playing all-in trying to get as many chips as possible before the Rebuy period ends especially in satellites. So be careful enough because you will encounter a lot of aggressive players and adventurous hands, and it may seem inconsequential to you :( and the latter may lead you to fall into the trap of badbeat.
Good luck to all

Answer

If you always have to have a bad hand to try once again, you should not be left out of a tournament

I never rebuy buy I like other people doing it. Normally bad players who keep feeding money into a game they won't win. Makes it easier for me.

I usually only rebuy once or twice, nothing more than twice!
I guess its good for the people who have lots of chips and those who keep rebuying feeding the pot. Yet more re buys, you start with minimum chips.

I do not like MTT with rebays and try to avoid them unless it is a profitable PKO. My advice is to play freezeouts. Always focus on bounty tournaments.

I like when I'm a cheapleader and the opponents make rebuy after another rebuy and go All In and lose against me again and again. Another reason for rebuy tournament have mostly bigger prize money than a normal tournament.

i usually rebuy up until the amount spent means u hv to finish deep into tourny to profit so i try to gauge the situation if its a lost cause or not.

In general, it does not matter to me. But in most cases, I would prefer to play the tournament without rebuys.

Of course, you can stay longer when you play in these tournaments. The chance to get into the prize pool is also much higher. Sometimes I play in these tournaments but I generally prefer freezout tournaments.

No, these endless rebuys are boring, this is profitable for the room and not for us

Definitely not. Today I played a satellite for the women's tournament - 90 minutes of rebuys, I almost lost my mind :confused:... All-in and rebuy, and so on endlessly ...
Although in some tournaments you can rebuy up to three times - this is normal. But no more.

Most tournaments have a Rebuy of 1 to an unlimited number of entries. Personally, I use at most 1, provided that I get over 60BB. Players with over 3 entries rate them as fish.

First of all if you whant to become pro player you should select the games. Rebuys, Knock out, Freezout, 6+, omaha , holdem , hu its all different games. If you are strong at mtt Freezout, you should understand, why are you good at mtt Freezout. Rebuys, knocks its different than mtt Freezout !!! Its like you say, "why 6+ always go preflop allin??". Its specific of rebuys games. If you dont understand how to play, and why you are loosing with AA preflop, just skip this discipline.

All depends on how deep I am in the tournament, I remember I had actually made the money in one MTT I played and the re-buy was still open so of course I bought back in and laddered some more places.
As for add-on's, I will always add-on if close to the bubble and have a half decent chip stack, just to keep my position in the list of players, there is nothing more soul destroying than being sat in 24th place and then finding you are in 40th place after the add-on break is over, just because players below you add-on and you don't.
It is always wise to have the game lobby open with the list of players open so you can see where you are, in a large Tournament and the list of prize positions so you can work out whether it is going to be profitable to re-buy or add-on, or not, some players nearer the top don't bother or cannot afford the add-on so you can actually climb the ladder above them.
You just have to use common sense.

When the fun Stops, STOP!

I prefer to make one rebuy in the early stage of the tournament, when there are a lot of chips in relation to the blinds. Rebuy gives me an extra chance, I can get my stack back in case of failure.

At the nano/microsI do not care for rebuys , one maybe , but in other events I never rebuy , as I am not good enough :( It might destroy my bankroll and the fun of the game .

But others know when to rebuy , how many bullets to use , they have bankroll management , they useit as a tool , so as to play aggressively and built fearlessly stacks . Ohters are whales , rebuy limitlessly without being good or having decent results , loss of $$$

Generally rebuys help growing the prizepool , 2 , 3 at the most bullets , i wouldn't mind , but with this limit so as to protest players . Poker should not be like casino , unlimited rebuys or reentries are dangerous for the game and players' bankroll , they destroy the fun if you lose temper and start rebuying recklessly and lose a tone of $$$
:(
