Poker doesn't like to rush. You just have to play a lot. And wait when you will feel that you are ready to play with any opponent and are able to win. And only then play for money. It takes time.

Being patient in a freeroll is essential. Whenever I sit down without any other concerns or time constraints I find I do much better. If you can carve out a 3-4 hour time period in your day just to consentrate on the game you will do much better

Start small man. Make a list of mistakes you feel you're making. Go down the list one at a time. Don't move on until you truly feel you have corrected it. The more you play the more experience you're gaining. Just keep going man you'll get there

We hope that all our initiatives will have a bright future. In the end, "you just need to keep one foot in front of the other," as the old adage says

I agree with you and know how you feel...I'm down $1000 right now and refuse to put more money on....so I only play freerolls now....it is indeed very hard to win them but it's not impossible...I've won 3 of them in the last 2 weeks...and I just won one last night in first...2.50...on demand in ACR....but earlier yesterday was real mad because I lost my KK to j-8 offsuit all-in preflop....in reality I didn't make a bad play by going all-in with him and losing....it can seem like you did something wrong because you lost....but you will get donked around alot on freerolls...just gotta keep playing....also....I try to donk on freerolls as well...and sometimes it works at the start I get up to 10k in 1st....and what that means is after that I play serious....but alot of times it doesn't work for me like it does the rest so I try to play how I normally would play...and it has paid off...anyways sorry for long book here...just here to let you know your not alone feeling this way....but know it isn't impossible...I have won a few of them in 1st...so just keep trying dont give up

This is one of the hardest task in poker!Don't give up , this is a serious challenge but you need to have patience , otherwise....
Find some freerolls with smaller fields and study the game.In order to win even a freeroll pure luck in not enough. Continue improving and studying.

All the best :)

I win a lot in freerolls, just to say that it IS possible. Study harder, take notes on your opponents, only play good cards at the beginning (pairs, strong aces) and don't go all-in with suited connectors like 8T or sth) You can't apply the things you learn while studying in early FR rounds, because most of them don't speak that language. They just want to have fun.
Let them play, look for the weak players and take their stacks with your strong hands.
That's it for the beginning. And don't bluff!!

do not give up, the one that perseveres reaches, the fact that a tournament is free does not mean that it is easy, if it is frustrating not to win in them but you must try to see what mistakes you make, change game strategy

Hang in there, we all hit the wall on occasion. If you want to build a bankroll with free-rolls you should Check out all freebies, some will place you ITM at as low as 99th place, others only pay the top ten. When you analyze the freebies, you will see the odds of placing ITM, go with the game, you are best at, and good luck.

If you are persistent, have good BRM, you can a build a small bankroll, enough to play micro-stakes with discipline. From micro, you can work your way up.

Thank you very much for the words of support.

I've been trying to build a bankroll just playing freeroll tournaments, okay, that's funny, but I've been studying poker daily and I do not have money for a first deposit, so playing that kind of tournament is my only option, but all the knowledge that I come accumulating is of no use, it is simply ineffective to apply all the concepts playing freerolls. I'm tired and sad, I love poker, but starting a bankroll from scratch is extremely stressful.

Freerolls are known to have INSANELY high variance. Luck alone can get a horrible player to the final table. Freerolls are NOT what you should be doing as a new poker player (online).

Make a $25+ deposit, and start learning by playing 6max SNGs and/or Cash tables.
Freerolls are NOT a good measure of your skill as a player. They are for fun, not for real play or skill.

Tired-rest. You thought it was so simple! It all happens not at once and not even the first time, and may not happen at all. But you believe that. You want it. You study, study, play. You think that it is in vain-it is unlikely. Training has never hurt anyone before. You need patience. Lots of patience. I wish you luck. Let you succeed.

Just keep studying and getting more hands in and your freeroll experience will increase. Don't get tilted when you lose to hands that shouldn't even be on the flop. The level of play in freerolls can be really bad so take full advantage of their mistakes and punish them whether they're a station or if they fold too much. Exploit, exploit, and exploit some more.

Try to post here and get to the required amount to join the cardschat freeroll. That one is winnable. If you play each night it wont take you more than a month to build a small bankroll.

I played a CardsChat freeroll today, I did not go so well, but it's a lot better than playing the Casino Org freerolls with 5K filds +

Yesterday I played a freeroll with a 5k + field from the Casino Org, I ended up getting ITM, but I only won 1.20 dollars, I tried to play 0.25 Sit & Go and even taking 3 FT from 11 tournaments played, I ended up clearing new, I think I need to get a lot more money in freerolls to try to migrate to Sit & Go and try to build a bankroll.

i think you have to play freerolls a little differant and dont get caught up in the early all ins even though u know u have the best hand so be paitient and try to make it to where late registration is over cause it gets alot better after that

My plan is to get some money and migrate to Sit & Go's, I think cash tables are not good for me yet.

888 poker is easy to get in the money with their freerolls, the problem is they pay too many. For example their daily $50 freeroll often pays 771 places. So in the money means 2 cents. Lol. Take a while to build a bankroll this way but at least you feel a bit of confidence making it in the money. It’s also super turbo so you are in the money in less then half hour. Yes it’s more luck but it’s a start.

Yeah, I'm researching the best freerolls to play.

Solid plan.

I would say, then, to really only play one MTT per day, or less. Focus on the highest paying MTT you can play in - probably CardsChat Freerolls - and really play smart. If you're doing that 7x/week, you'll get really good and you will cash sooner than later. Especially if you're getting a lot of study in. I recommend Gripsed on Youtube. Very strong instruction and for free.

DO NOT waste time playing the $10 Freerolls on ACR/BCP, they are a disaster. Hardly any money and huge field. Waste of time. You're better off playing in one or two CC freerolls $100+ and focusing.

Don't worry if you lose. Even Pro players lose 60% of the time or more, so don't worry about it.
