Mavs win the series, the Heat may have had some better players but the Mavs was a better team. So what is whats Lebron excuse now? Congrats to the Mavs and Dirk and Kidd and Terry for finally getting a ring.

A team game guys, a team game. Dallas was the better team, that was an enjoyable game. Everyone playing hard for the MAVS, Dirk Nowitzki 1-12 at halftime and they found a way to beat the BIG 3; that right there was impressive. Congratulations to all the Mavericks Fan in CC. Your team played hard and deserve it. Congratulations CUBANS, lol

And what about the Heat? They just couldn't match Dallas intensity. Lebron "the Prince" James MIA. he got killed over and over again by Jason Terry, Terry really? -He shut down the MVP Rose and couldn't do it with Terry after he called him out WOW.

Now I feel less "bad" because the Lakers got beaten by the 2011 Champions Dallas Mavericks.

Great article by Bill Simmons on Game 6.

Big congrats to the Mavs for every player's first ever championship. You don't see that too often, do you? Especially for a group of 30-somethings. The way Dirk won it is something that none of the Heat will ever get to experience. Even for Dwade he won it so early he didn't really experience the pains of having to suffer multiple playoff defeats first. And Lebron will never know the pureness of suffering to the point of all defeat in winning it for his first team.

Enough about the Heat. This offseason is all about how the Dallas Mavs are the champions and no one can ever take that away from them!

You are totally right about the pains of having to suffer for a ring jho.

Great article indeed Jho, thanks for the link. Sometimes I hate Mr. Simmons[Anti-Yankee articles], but I always read, it's fun, got to say that this is his 2nd best article [1st. The one when he and his family lost their Dog]

He won me over with the "Tim Olyphant in Justified" quote. lol :D

And maybe that's why, right now, he's in total denial. Even in the postgame presser, when he should have been devastated the same way Magic Johnson was distraught after coming up small in the 1984 Finals, LeBron was doing the Frank Drebin "Nothing to see here, please disperse" routine, bristling at the notion that he choked and taking shots at anyone who rooted against him. That's what you do when you're surrounded by enablers — you blame everyone else, and you never look within. He never understood that people only rooted against him because that's what you do when someone boasts before they've ever actually done anything.

...

The best thing about Jordan's final shot wasn't that he made it, but that we knew he would make it. That's why we revere him all these years later. Usually heroes come through only on command in movies; Jordan did it in real life. We loved him for it.

...

The lesson, as always: Three players can get you to the Finals, but eight players have to win it.

These last 2 quotes are priceless.
