Yeah maybe you should make it for iPhone too, I'd download it . I heard python isn't hard to learn
Pretty sure Apple offers a free compiler.

Apple provides Xcode as a free OSX/iOS IDE/compiler, but you must run it on a Mac and you must pay $100/year for a developer key to publish to the App store. So iOS app development is definitely not free unless you already have a Mac and only intend to look at your app in the emulator.Pretty sure Apple offers a free compiler.
Next time you update it, I'll wait for a couple of days to see if it happens, rather than doing it manually.
FYI - update installed automatically
Neat idea but it seems like a whoooole lot of work for not much gain over just paying a little bit of attention to your table.
cool project.
prolly banned in all the casinos near here tho.
Maybe thicken the words a bit?
fwiw I highly doubt people would get banned by using this app as long as they don't make it obvious(using it midhand, broadcasting it etc). Usually most casino's, at least the ones ive been to, are cool with cell phone usage as long as youre not actually playing in the hand.
I really like the idea of this app because it seems SO much simpler to actually enter in the decisions with the 1-2 click type of system. I have a HUD on my iphone but it takes too much time to enter stuff in so I just don't use it at all.
I don't see why you can't use a list control to display all players, with a search/filter control at the top to incrementally search/filter the list as you type? A number of iPhone apps do this, and I find it hard to believe that Android isn't capable of similar out of the box. At worst you code it yourself. The big disadvantage with the auto-complete is that you cannot browse through the whole list, you would have to remember what nicknames you gave your player or at least the first letter.
Looks so much nicer than flooding the screen with buttons though.
This looks like what your suggesting.I don't see why you can't use a list control to display all players, with a search/filter control at the top to incrementally search/filter the list as you type?
