well actually i just got an email back from security i believe their investigation is done and they found nothing illegal and ok get this ok out of the $500 i only used $50 ok to play so not like i was trying to chance it and not pay them back ok get this before you say stuff like that.

you can go to your bank and ask for an extra one, surely. don't try to act as if nothing depends on you, that would be even stupider than what you did in the first place....

I unlike a lot of members here, understand that mistakes happen. whether it was a dumb move or not, no one is perfect. We have all done stupid things at one time or the other.

Being you are a US player, I don't think they could ever arrest you for fraudulent behavior. For the simple reason that on-line gambling is illegal in the US. To prosecute FT would have to explain why they let a US resident deposit on FT in the first place.

well understand thats it's a mistake calling everyone ugly names and it could get you banned . then understand that this was OP's Intro post . then understand that it sounded very shady at first and still isn't fully understood .
still unclear at what point he knew the money was not going to be there on time . and the transfer just made it look worse , thank the lord he did not try to give his girl way more . his play will be studied for any collusion . I also am willing to give him the benefit of doubt and believe it was just a honest mistake . but no way I blame the flamers , he had it coming

also I know a couple people who have made deposits and never made them good , they lost the money on the poker site before the deposit went thru and just said fug em . went on to a new site .

I'd say just try & clear it up ASAP, like first thing in the AM, it doesn't look good on your part, write PM's to fulltilt security and make sure they get there $$, they should clear your BR because you weren't on the up & up even if it was an oversight, you shouldn't be entitled to the $$. I hope you can make it right with them and next time just make sure you have all your bank acct info in order first!
Obviously your a good player if you were able to bring your BR up to $16K in a few days, I'm sure you can do it again. Most important thing is your integrity and right now its shot, clean that mess up first! GL with it! Hope it works out!

You can get a partial statement now from them.

Like others said - just go to the bank and have them print it out, or if you have an online account with your bank - just go online and print it yourself.

Oh - and don't worry about playing at school vs. playing at home - EXCEPT if your GF uses your FullTilt ID when you are at school playing... that can really mess you over. I think you said she has her own account, so you should be good to go.

@et1961... you really need to get a ****ing clue. On-line poker is NOT illegal in the U.S. US Banks serving as a clearing house (credit cards) is.

thanks all but well i didnt think it would go this far because i had been playing on tilt for a while and made over 15 deposits in the past and never had a problem this was my only time in the past i used my cc but im in the US and they wont accept them anymore but i hope i get the money i won it i would think im entitled to it thats alot of money to a student.

they usually take 7-10 days so i thought ok but like i said i only used 50bucks there was still 450 left in my account i only play two games a day when im not in school and twice a week when i am so im not a crazy person and they have all my identification and stuff. so leave that alone please that was never my intention. geez. it wouldnt have been a problem had they let me use my credit card to make a deposit like i used to in the past so this is new to me and that quick deposit thing got me and i didnt even know that would give me the money instantly so i was shocked too but i only play for real money on tilt because i love their software so please if you have nothing nice to say i suggest dont comment on this post i think i get the picture now but i explained it to them and they did their investigation and found that i wasnt doing anything illegal grrrr i hate some people.

thats correct last deposit was late 2007 or early 2008 i believe and always paid them with no problem im a respected player but im afraid that this is going to look bad on me.

Can someone explain to me in plain terms exactly what happened here? Doesn't FT wait for a player's funds to clear before making them available to a player? Since I've never deposited - not even sure if that's legal in the states, I wouldn't know - but it sure sounds like that's what is being said here. Correct me if I'm wrong - if a poker site allows a player access to their money before it clears the banking process, aren't they just asking for trouble?

The deposit is 'instant' and they allow you to play, however the funds haven't cleared with the bank. When you deposit on to Full Tilt you are playing with their money, not your own, so that strips away all of your rights and entitlement regarding that money.

I'm sure they get the occasional person who deposits the money and skips out, but that person won't be able to cash that money out, so there's no financial gain. It's smarter for FTP to do it this way so they can seize accounts and funds without fear of user recourse.

-I'm not positive, but that's how I think it works. I'm sure someone will correct any mistakes.

You can actually go online and download a copy of your last statement. Like I said before, I went through a similar situation and that's what I did and they accepted it. I actually sent them a downloaded because I was having trouble getting a readable picture of the ENTIRE statement which is what they require.

Most likely someone isn't going to pay a debt (if they lost the "free" deposit) for poker if they are struggling for money already, my points exactly.


If this is genuine though, I apologise but still it does look a bit suspicious and why I said this thread most likely would never of started if you hadn't won 15k and now really want to make sure FT gets their money obviously..
