My brother was in the same scenario and they suspended my account as well. He had made a couple of deposits within a week or so and got mixed up between the deposit date and when the transaction was cleared with the bank.
Neither of us were cheating and our account's have been cleared now that he deposited the money into FTP. It's just their standard procedure to block all closely related accounts or something when a situation like this happens I guess. They could have suspected us of cheating or something, but we've only played together in a couple of freerolls so that's doubtful.
Either way, once his account had sufficient funds they released both of ours. My brother definitely wasn't trying to scam FTP because he knows I'd kill him, but I can't say the same for juice. All I know is his story is plausible.

You DO NOT make payments that you know are not available. You DO NOT make payments that you hope you can get into your account before they are transfered. This is something that a responsible adult is aware of.
Impressive wins, you should get in touch with Full Tilt and see what you can do. But due to the girlfriend thing, you are probably shit-out-of-luck. It sounds like you had one player playing from 2 different IP addresses in a way that shows multiple users (and you admit this here anyway, so, yes that is ABSOLUTELY fraud according to TOS) and you can kiss those impressive wins goodbye.
I hope 2 things for you.
1. That your wins are a sign of your poker skill.
2. That you learned something here, so when you apply those skill on your next site, you observe the TOS. Cause if you do this somewhere else, it will just be a case of deja-vu.........

No different from writing bad checks. It may not have been flagrantly intentional but it was at a minimum fiscally irresponsible. Basically you had FT stake you without their consent. That's stealing and they deserve to keep every penny of it. Now, wanna talk about a legit stake?

You seem well versed so Im going to rule out lazy and stupid and go right to thought I could put on over on ftp and got caught just like the title says. Hope you get prosecuted for fraud some how or at least your mom takes away your computer when she finds out.

Id still like to know how he made 16000 in three days. Even with one other account colluding I would still think its tough to do that in 3 days. Unless he won a big tourney. Is that cash games? How do u do that? U should definitely not be allowed to keep it but that is still impressive

they thought i gave them invalid bank account info but that was not the case i just didnt have the money in the bank account on friday but i do now if they try to get it again on monday it will be there thats why i was worried because they said something about fraud thats all guys i am not hiding anything i did win thanks DORKUS for posting if you guys thought i was lying go back and read the first sentence they wrote. once they get their money i should be fine right??? please stop tryna make me feel like a criminal it was nothing intentional i had bills to pay but i had the more money in another bank account with a diff. bank so i did a wire transfer on saturday and should be on my account on monday. all i was looking for was help as to what to do and not people telling me i should be prosecuted for fraud really? shame

What to do? You already replaced the funds, so you did the right thing there. But in the meantime:
1. Don't deposit or play with scared money (basic rule of poker).
2. Don't try to make excuses for bad decisions (basic rule of life).
3. Ask for forgivness with Full Tilt and see if you can get your winnings unlocked. (Good job on the cash BTW).
You should feel lucky you posted this on CC - on 2p2 you would have been completely ripped up and put out for the vultures to clean up.

I unlike a lot of members here, understand that mistakes happen. whether it was a dumb move or not, no one is perfect. We have all done stupid things at one time or the other.
Being you are a US player, I don't think they could ever arrest you for fraudulent behavior. For the simple reason that on-line gambling is illegal in the US. To prosecute FT would have to explain why they let a US resident deposit on FT in the first place.

Can someone explain to me in plain terms exactly what happened here? Doesn't FT wait for a player's funds to clear before making them available to a player? Since I've never deposited - not even sure if that's legal in the states, I wouldn't know - but it sure sounds like that's what is being said here. Correct me if I'm wrong - if a poker site allows a player access to their money before it clears the banking process, aren't they just asking for trouble?

full tilt dosnt handle the transfers another corporation does...so they run the account to see if the person does indeed have an account but they cannot tell how much is in the account and if its an e-check it can take a couple days to clear...but FT is willing to gamble that if the account comes back legit that the check will be good so they credit it within like 30 seconds so you can get started playing.

Here is my opinion.
You knew indeed you had bills to pay and was maybe stuck for cash, we have all been there, broke and skint and you did something stupid.
You then decided to deposit the maximum you could via a check pending in the hope to score some quick results..if you failed then well, you would of just lost your $500 which was never actually your money so woulden't of effected you. They might well of tried to take it from your bank but with insufficient funds they woulden't of been able to and you always had your back up bank with money in.
You managed to luckily score a big score and have managed to speak to a family/friend member and you have explained the situation so you're willing to get the cash into the bank now with the hope you can withdraw the 15k. I don't belive for one second if you donked off all the cash you would of put the money back in to "pay them back"
Worse case scenario now, you get done for fraud.
Your best outcome is that they accept your late payment, but in hindsight, I belive they might well just let you contiune using the account but confiscate their/your winnings and give you the $500.
They aren't stupid and most likely have seen this sort of thing before- you should of made sure if it was your intention to have the money in the account ready for it to be taken,
I don't believe this thread would of been started if you hadn't cashed so big....
End of the day you played with their money and you don't actually have any right to any of the winnings at all, they don't do credit for players - so any winnings should actually be given to full tilt as they staked you unwillingly and you pay back the remaining you owe them to save yourself from going to court and play with the rest of the money you now will officaly have on monday morning.
