I am glad for you that got sortet out.
Like I wrote before, it really doesn't matter if it's $1 or $10K, they should not mess with players money.

Hi Jay,
great and good news, that you got your money back from 888. But I assumed already, that they will do so like I mentioned before.

Actually, I think 888 is a good room, but maybe somehow a bit lost about the new regulations here in Germany. And maybe it is not their fault, but the new regulations, that actually should include the Schufa assurance and they just take most serious compared to all other rooms. Look at PS, they also removed even play-money games for us Germans, what is hardly understandable.

Nevertheless, I think you are right to claim back this money and even if it were only $10 or less. It should be done by principle and not only by the amount of money. And only if a room acts like this and pays back to their customers their bankroll, it can be trusted in my opinion.

Glad you got your money. :top:

It shouldn't have been so problematic and stressful to be honest, but they did pay you in the end, so that's a good sign for 888 and good news for you.

I am glad for you that got sortet out.

Thanks for the support and kind words.

I mentioned before that I like playing 888. It is having to make Schufa aware that I am opening a new gambling account (cause that is how it will be seen, since all this comes under the gambling laws here) that will mean I cannot open an account until I am no longer unemployed. Having had my business shut down due to COVID, I had to apply for state support. In 18 months, I received about $7000 total. Which is nothing compared to people I know with businesses in other areas, like gastronomy, as just one example. I was given exactly 75% of 2 months of income over 19 months, but that is another topic altogether... So if I open a new gambling account, even with the money that was on the old account, it may raise red flags, and I will not get involved in any of that until if and when I can reopen my business.

It is a shame, but as most of you probably know, bureaucracy here can be more hassle than it is worth.

But 888 did do me right, so in spite of the hassle, I am glad they finally stepped up to the plate.

And, yea, play money on stars being outlawed when real money games are allowed makes no sense at all........

I would say something about the joker that hides his insulting posts with emojis and then hides when called out about it, but I think I have beaten that dead horse enough.....bb
