I don't know if its bovada but I definitely feel something shady. I see way too many small stacks/forced all in doubling up off the chip leader with the stupidest hands and draws you can think of. Tell me why on a final table mr. small stack calls my all in with a 10 6 off against my bigger stack and AK off and spikes a pr of 6's on the flop????
That os not the only time stuff like that happens I have been chip leader plenty of times on the bubble and I get chopped down to pop it and that happens way to often. I am furious and would love to get bovada shutdown because of that.

It happens all the time, dude probably said to hell with it and made the call. Maybe for some reason in his head he loves 10 6. I've had a BB special with 10 4 before. Too many donks that make ridiculous calls and bets and hits one of their outs. Bad beats, it's life.

I dont 100% trust anyone but poker stars and thats only cause they been around for forever. and is the bigget poker site out there. therefore. bigger security and even still where there is money involved there willl always be the chance of cheating and no one can really ever control that.

Online vs Live will always seem shady

One thing I don't like about playing online is, well, the fact that I can't see my cards and the other players. It is all about comfort and convenience. There are pro's and con's to both live and online play. The main con to online games is the fact that you don't know who or what you are really up against.
That said, I have had instances at live games where if it had been online I would have definitely suspected cheating but, since I saw everything with my own eyes, the doubt did not last long.
I do NOT trust slot machines, especially the digital ones. I like the tangible elements of card games. I like to take my money home with me when I leave. But, I also like playing a tournament from the comfort of home while doing other things and being welcomed back by a chat box full of zzz's after selecting the "fold" pre-option and it not sticking. C'mon, it happens to everyone at least once. ;)

Bovada/bodog has been around in online poker just as long as pokerstars if not longer, try doing some research on the subject b4 making such dumb posts .

Bovada - Criminal Enterprise

Bovada is a criminal enterprise. They have declined paying me $11k that I won claiming misuse of the bonus. Upon explanation of what they thought of as misuse, I found out that they had set up their system to encourage this and use it as a loophole not to pay people large payouts. Doing very little search I found other people had had this same problem with them. That means they know about it and do nothing to stop it - they use it to their advantage.

I was with Bodog and Bovada for over ten years. Ten. Years. They are changing folks - you see it with the software fiasco and the delayed payments. They are a joke and a criminal organization. They stole this money and the money I bet to get it - stole it.

Luckily, I am going to have my attorney do everything and anything - money is no object - to file a report with the gaming commission and present our case. We may very well lose as I am not sure of their integrity, do not know much about the gaming commission, but I do know that it will not be free to defend themselves and that makes me very, very happy.

They treated me so disgustingly bad after ten years of being a loyal client and a near daily player, there is literally no limit to the amount of time, money and effort I will put forward to righting that wrong.

These guys know that states are starting to legalize gaming and that the real poker rooms are taking over in the US. They are tightening their belt and all of you will suffer for it. Believe me or don't, I would not feel right not letting people know.

Good luck. Play Bovada at your own risk. You will think it is all me until it happens to you. Ten years people. Ten years. Never cheated, stole or scammed a single person in my life -- Bovada can not say the same.

Single post poster... never can give people credit for this kind of stuff.

Despite all of the BS, Bovada/bodog has been one of the new steady forces in the online poker world. I've played on there for over 10 years now, and I've never had any issues. There are a lot of shady sites out there, but I wouldn't include Bovada w/ them.

Bovada Scam??

Just got my account locked. Called CS to find out why and they say I have a negative balance of $500 from over 12 years ago when they were Bodog. Funny how they didnt lock my account until my winnings were way up. Anyone else have this happen to them? Is this just a scam to pocket players cash when they know that because of the international jurisdiction issues theres nothing that can be done?

When you pay by CC, how is it even possible to HAVE a neg balance?? And no, Ive never done a charge back to my CC (thats the only thing I can think of that makes sense)

I trust Bovada will provide a river card to my opponent for the win. I trust Bovada will disconnect me from the mobile site, no matter the network, numerous times. I trust Bovada will allow my 5/6 suited to win on a consistent basis. I trust Bovada will allow my A/K to lose on a regular basis. I trust Bovada will give me pocket Kings and be up against pocket aces. I trust Bovada will provide runner runner for my opponent to hit his 20% hand. I trust Bovada .

I generally trust Bovada. They have 24/7 phone support (how many sites have live phone support 24/7 in the US market?) and email support. I've successfully cashed out and received funds from them by check. They've comped me when there were issues. The traffic seems better than every other US facing site.

In contrast I've gone back to play on some other US facing sites and have had generally poor experiences in terms of customer service, traffic, questionable players, and overall experience.

I also trust Bovada because I have people IRL who have played there with success, been paid out with success, vouched for their customer service, and in general have good experiences with them.

Just because they've been around just as long doesn't mean they can be trusted just as much. Look at complaints against casino/poker rooms that go back years and years. Research the subject before you make dumb posts

Sounds about right. They wouldn't send me a cashout for 19 months, only a series of bouncing checks and emails blaming me. I finally threatened to call the FBI and visa and they sent my $ next day air. They don't call it Blowvada for nothing.

I'm going to remember that because I am always vigilant watching for collusion. Well, if I didn't quit playing there due to rampant collusion.

i dont think bovada would be involved i recived and email a few months ago and they had credited my account 50.00 saying i was at a table that may have been invilved in collusion and that they always want there customers to play at a safe site. or something like that. so if they were cheating people they wouldnt of 1. told me about it . and 2. credited my account with the money i had lost at that table.
