I find that the eratic play and bad beats are the same at other sites as well as bovada, but I have had no issues with getting paid. After the BS at juicy and a couple of others I give Bovada a 2:top: up and they have at least put some faith back to payouts.

I don't think Bovada is cheating, ever wants a while on the SnG's double ups I find a couple players playing partner poker. Cash, and multi table tournaments are good to go. I haven't had many problem at all with that site. I think it's one of the best sites to play on.

Bovada is a great site to play. Cashouts have always come quick for me. Yea i understand anonymous sucks because you cannot pin down the fish as easily, but there sure are a lot of them on bovada so finding them is pretty simple.

There is going to be collusion everywhere, you just got to hope that the security can catch it. That being said I don't think it is rampant or anything to make a big fuss about.

How do you get all the hole cards?

There is a bovada hand converter, that costs about 15 dollars. This converter with conjunction of HM2 you can view your previous hands, that are older <24 hours.

I like Bovada because the tourneys always get enough players that no one would consider trying to collude because the chances of getting on the same table as your partner(s) would be slim compared to other sites that allow U.S. players.

I can't speak from a lot of experience, as Bovada is the only room I've played at online, but I've only had positive experiences with them. The software is well-designed, the withdrawals are quick and efficient, and I actually like the anonymity of the USER ID's.

As for shadiness, my inclination is to say no. I believe that poker rooms are most likely over-regulated, just like Las Vegas, and the amount of off-handedness, if any, is much less than what people would think.

I play at bovada a decent amount. I feel like they don't have much incentive to cheat. Why risk their good reputation when they are already making a ton of money?

As for the people complaining about bad beats, you should first logically search for a conclusion better than "cheating". Bovada has an especially fast H/Hr, thus increasing the likely hood of seeing crazier/less likely out comes. Ive been through plenty of bad beats, and i mean horrible beats, in live cash games/MTTs, but i don't immediately accuse the card house or my friends of cheating.

I've never had any problems with Bovada...I get frustrated with bad beats and want to blame the site, but eventually - after cooling off - I just accept it and move on. I played in a live tournament earlier this week and saw several cases where shortstacks survived elimination with some remarkable suck-outs. I had one myself. I recall thinking: "This is exactly what people complain about in online poker."

Anyway - one thing that will come from OLP's eventual "legalization" in the US is more transparency into how the sites are controlled/regulated.

I will never trust it

I played at Bovada for months and experienced more bad beats than all the other poker sites I have been to combined. I swear you hit trips and your opponent will hit a river flush so damn often. I wanted to believe for the longest time that they operated with integrity, but several hundred dollars in the red later(while I'm in the positive in most other sites I play at) I cant in all good consciousness say I trust them. No doubt they have the cheapest buyin for the highest gtd tourney amounts, and thats probably why I stayed for so long. However, based on months of experience I firmly believe that no player, no matter how good can be a winnig player on bovada.

How hard is it to sit in the same cash game?

Doesn't seem like it would be to difficult to me either. To respond to the same post from credsfan03, I'm pretty sure people could also register for the same tournaments. You don't control your seating there regardless of anonymity.

I would say that I tend to think that cash games tend to work in favor of the initial raiser and that usually the board tends to come in a way that will bring the most rake by the river other than that I enjoy Bovada... Find it to be the most reliable available US poker site for those of us outside of NJ and NV..

Based on my experiences with Bovada these past 8 months, I would have to STRONGLY disagree with you...

bovada is the same room/network at was bodog till few years a go?

I like as a poker site, not a 24/7 action at the tables, but was fair enough.
I find problem with the support, really slow on answer and similar.
I find difficult to play in site where support is really slow to answer.

Cash outs are no issue on there. The biggest problem in all honesty is that collusion is a very real possibility on there. They make it pretty easy to do since you can't track players. If you're relying on the site to catch these people, good luck. :)

I play on there and have won a decent amount. I just don't play very high stakes anymore for many reasons. It's more recreational for me than it is trying to grind lots of dollars. It's become more like vacation money than anything.

That being said, there are tools to help on there too. The bovada card catcher is good if you have a database already, or you the bovada hand converter from us as well is good just to track your results and review play.

I think it's ok, but just make sure you're checking your games and e-mailing bovada of any suspicious play.

Poker players are generally paranoid :)
You need more than some memory of a fishy call and a suckout after, to accuse a site with scamming. It happens and can happen but we all have retarded bad beat stories from any site on the internet, doesnt mean that the sites arent legit.

I don't see how the format at Bovada would cause any player problems, save the ones who are lost without a tracking program. The only problem I would see is players entering as a group on sit and go's. You can't track the identity of the players and would not know if the same players are grouping at your table. I would think that Bovada's software would be able to easily spot that kind of activity if it were to occur.
