Well it depends if they increased rake after adding the Beast and SitNcrush - If they did then you are correct. if they didn't you are incorrect. No idea which to be true.
Well long term that Overlay could bite you in da bum. It could cause payout problems.
As I said I truly hope both become very successful to the point where they make PokerStars have to compete too. (Am I dreaming toooo big?)
Edit: Forgot to comment on the schedule, Yup would love to see WPN improve the tournament schedule - get some Series going or something.
I agree that both being viable and great alternatives for players would be the best outcome for everyone playing in the US.
The reality is WPN has known it's software is about a decade behind for a long time, and has chosen to spend on jackpots and weird promos and rakeback (which is fine) and not on development. That is a choice WPN has made, and they can be criticized for it regardless of cashout times bc the two are independent of each other....not saying you don't understand this btw.
The amount taken from the pot is the rake, period, no matter how
casinos want to spin it. You can talk about 2 dollars being "tax" if that much eventually goes to regulators/govt., but that doesn't change the fact that it is rake at the time it's taken from the pot. Then the site/operator can run promos to give back to the players. I don't put much value in the promos at WPN for a myriad of reasons, but others might...fine, that's the way the world work, but to pretend like it isn't rake, is a joke to me.
I still don't know why WPN doesn't simply run a copy of Carbon's wonderful daily MTT schedule with GTDs....it's been mind boggling to me for awhile why they do so much wrong for tournament players, but then again, Carbon's payouts see mindless as well.
This is the domestic poker landscape as it is, and we have to deal with it before large scale integrated
online poker....
