Chock up another Canadian, sounds like my kind of tourney. Gonna see if I can find some way to deposit on Titan. Do you know what the deposit minimums are for Mastercard/Visa, Skrill(moneybookers)?

If you're planning on opening a Titan account, BE SURE TO USE the Cardschat link for it (if you go through CC link (& deposit) you're eligible to play a monthly $1,000 private freeroll). You don't need to be a member of the CC Freeroll Club to play in it (& no minimum post requirement either).

I'm not sure what the minimum first time deposit is on Titan. First deposit I made on that site was $35 (with a mastercard GiftCard). Over the next year I won over $1,100 just from the CC $1k freeroll (in other words > it's well worth it to go through the CC link to play in that freeroll.... although there's many more entrants in it these days but the level of play is HORRENDOUS (there's another thread about it).

I've made many more deposits on Titan since my initial one,(min. with skrill is $10) but mostly so that I can play their weekly depositor Freeroll ($1,250 freeroll on Mondays at 12:30est). There's a few other bonus games for Canadians on Titan as well (there were more before but still a couple left... read back thru this thread & you'll see them (LATM pts. & LATM Depositor freerolls, $2k & $3k).

Titan's first deposit minimum seems to be different than their normal deposit mins. My first deposit thru Moneybookers was for $10 and it went through. I tried to deposit $10 again and it would not let me, only $20 would go thru.

So my guess would be that Mastercard is the same, $10usd min first deposit and $20 thereafter. Just try $10 and see if it goes thru.

Don't bother asking the Live help agents, they have no idea that the first deposit min is different than the normal min.

So far tho, my experience with Titan has been A+

Sure it is, Titan/ Ipoker is one of the glitchiest sites. For me luckily, it's been rare, the disconnect thing, but other stuff, weird stuff like hijacking my pointer, that was weird.

I remember you telling me about this tourney before, but I rarely play/have money on Titan. I usually withdraw it or donk it off in the casino when I'm drunk.

My table was pretty tight, hard to get anything going.

Any computer experts out there? I don't remember this being true in the past.

Titan uses 3 times more memory(?) than any other program on my computer according to control panel at 1.08 GB.
Party uses 157 MB
Full Tilt uses 72.3 MB
The great and powerful Stars only uses 51.7 MB

Is it because of the casino crap? And I'm sure it never used to be that way.

Remembered to play it tonight (Canucks R Us) and was lucky enough to win it (was the shortest stack on the bubble, ~15bb's). One guy made real bad aipf call on bubble & things went good from then on til' one hand HU TT < 44 aipf.

Very nice win PO! Couldn't make it this week but hopefully next. The only negative I have with this tourney is it takes 4+ hours to complete so it's a bit of a commitment. Keep that in mind for anyone deciding to play.

Yah you're right. It's really not worth playing unless I've got some other games running on Wed. night. Your post kept me from entering it lately, lol... 'but' it's pretty easy money vs. most tourneys. I might play it tonight if I have enough energy & choose to play the $10k on ACR as well.

Just a reminder today is the deadline to make a deposit on Titan in order to qualify for the LATM $3,000 Depositors Freeroll. This is a sickening donkfest of donkaments but the payouts are great (for 'free'). It runs on a Sunday at 3pm(PT).... I think it's usually the first Sunday of the Month.
Also, if you make the deposit for this, don't forget that you'll also be eligible to play in the Monday morning $1,250 Weekly Depositor freeroll (9am PT).

Got an email saying that Titan is pulling out of the Canadian market on December 22. They are citing potential "pending legislation" as the reason why. Make your withdrawl before then!

Also.. titanpoker.com now redirects to Ladbrokes' site.
