The boat huh? I used to travel I40 thru there. You guys have a lot of boats. In Aurora, IL, there is only one boat.
Yeah not really riverboats anymore, they have skirted the law at every opportunity they could get away with lol ..Good !! ...when
gambling was first legalized here it had to be on a riverboat and you had to go on a cruise, usually about three to six hours ...
Then they decided well as long as it's on a boat it's ok if it sits in the river and permanently moored .... Then they came up with the idea of boats in moats so they would build close to the river on a manmade island dig a channel and let the river flood in around it lol ....
Now they just don't care anymore as long as the Gaming Commission approves the license, because they are only allowed to build so many, I think they only have to be able to see the river : ) ... whatever works haha ... as long as I can play poker ......And I live out 40 a ways or 44 depends which way you go near Pacific and Wildwood... you are right too, great spot to see the change to fall .....
