Never in a million years. The bracelet has zero value to me other than if I could buy it and re-sell it for a nice profit. No way could you do that paying $50k for it.

I'm not ready to pay $ 50k for a wsop bracelet. With this money, I'd rather try to win a WSOP bracelet.

What’s the point... waste of money

It is meaningless unless earned.. is it worth 50k in melt value?

Every year these bracelets are issued on the hands of more and more. Therefore, their value falls, not a very profitable investment.

I don't think I'd pay that price. And what does the buyer get? How can he say that I won that tournament?

It would like nice on display in a cabinet and if I had FU money then no problem as that would probably be the least wasteful thing Id be blowing money on. AS I DISPLAY IT IN A 100% PURE GOLD CASE !!!! LOL encased in a diamond

Nope. How about putting that cash into the bankroll and trying to earn one myself?!

Personally no. But I could see a small market for collectors but it would have to be from a high profile player in a high profile tournament. I don’t see just any bracelet winner being able to pull this off.

100% ODDS

“Captain” Tom Franklin won his first and only WSOP bracelet in a 1999 $2,500 limit Omaha tournament for $104,000. He now hopes to get nearly half that cash – $50,000 – for the gold piece of jewelry from a buyer on eBay.

What are the odds he can actually sell the coveted WSOP bracelet for $50k?

The odds are about as high as you winning a hand where you have 23 off vs AA preflop. 100%, AA pre flop shove NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER WINSSSSSSS!!!!!

I would nt buy it!

I wouldn't buy a WSOP bracelet, I would much rather win my own. I couldn't have any pride knowing I never earned that bracelet, I just bought it. Just wearing it does not make me a good poker player, winning it does!

Wow $50.000 for his $2.500 limit omaha tourney from Tom Fraklin . So , imho , if that's the case , how much are we suppposed to pay to obtain Hellmuth's 1989 main event bracelet , $1.000.000 ???

Why would someone want it when they didn't earn it. That's like buying a 1st place bowling trophy Are you even any good at bowling.

I would buy it if I could immediately resell it to someone else at a 5-10k profit.

I would have no interest in keeping it. And the resale would need to be a guarantee LOL

I'm sure he is willing to negotiate if the price is reasonable. I have a hard time believing anyone would pay anywhere near that number though.

IMO there is absolutely no chance he will get anywhere close to 50k for an insignificant bracelet from way back when in a nothing event.

To be honest, I wouldn't buy it for even $ 10,000. I'm not so much a fan of poker. maybe those who are fan of poker and poker is his whole life are ready to give 50.000

I guess the price a person would be willing to pay for a wsop bracelet will depend on who won that bracelet.
My take is that a bracelet won by a phil helmutt or a daniel negreanu would be worth more than a bracelet won by someone less famous.
