My understanding is that it's not actually a limit. It's a checkpoint, at which you will be faced with information regarding problem gaming issues, pointed towards help if you need it, and you must acknowledge that you've deposited that amount and you are aware of the help available to you.

A lot of good info and articles posted in this thread.! Seems like something will finally happen for online poker, sooner than later now.Now all they got to do is iron out a ton of details, which hopefully wont take another year.Still is good news , and moving in the right direction.

If it helps ease some of the angst some would have over OLP, an initial limit sound reasonable to me. It would be very easy to raise or eliminate the limit if the industry proves it can apply appropriate controls and safeguards.

The bill also says that both the licensed entity along with the player must maintain a physical presence in Pennsylvania, with players required to establish online accounts in person at a licensee’s land-based gaming facility. Online players would have to hold an “active players' club membership, which was applied for and issued at the slot machine licensee’s licensed facility.”
