Where are the best places to find updates on legalization in California? Are there any bills being proposed currently?

Johns reply pretty much sums it up. This is sort of unique to California, because at some point in time the Tribes seem to have gotten sole custody on gambling in California.

Add in the Tribes caved to the Horse Racing Associations demands and that pretty much zips the bag shut. That issue alone I think killed everyone's willingness to tackle the big picture issues.

So there is at this point no reasonably organised effort to bring OLP to Ca. Once Pa. gets accepted into the De. NJ, NV cartel, our best best would be a governor decree to join that cartel.

"Special Interests" have screwed the reasonable associates out of a good constant revenue stream. Reasonable associates in my opinion would be those who already spread poker tables in live B&M locations.

After a long absence I've been playing on ACR and the interface is pretty nice. I just wish they had an option to play securely on the mobile where the screen doesn't look so microscopic.

It's kind of ironic that play money poker Apps (like Zynga Poker) have better interfaces available than what ACR has available (probably has to do with regulations that online poker still has in the US)

Hi! I'm the ACR Rep, regarding the microscopic screen...mmm maybe you have the Desktop mode activate it on that window. If you are using an android, click on the 3 vertical dots, those are in the browser box, a menu will display, it would say New tab, bookmarks, etc. Look for the Desktop Site option (make sure the little box is unmarked)

When do you think the United States will allow legal online poker again?
I was hoping with the election of a casino owner that our chances would have improved. I'm doubtful though with all the other problems this country has,
What do you think will happen? Will online poker be legal in the United States sooner than later?

Thanks

I live in Russia, poker is also forbidden here, and I do not understand why, why it is forbidden?

I think state by state in the USA. As each state responds to another tax source they will individually legalize online poker and then join the group to maximize pool size and $$. I do not not foresee any action on the federal level for at least Trump's administration. He has enough trouble tying his shoes every day. :bath:

They have a huge group of states for 2 lotteries. No reason for same thing not to happen with poker.

Come on Ohio, are you reading this? :D

God bless.

I think its retarded that you cant gamble online. I really feel its senators and congressmen that are getting kickbacks from the casinos. Think about , if you can gamble in the confort of your own home how inclined would you be to drive to a casino. Also, what sense does it make to restrict you from gambling online, When you could still go to a casino and empty out your whole savings account. The government really does care about us dont they.lol

I mean come on what is the difference between live and online poker? As long as its set up to prevent colluding and hacking your screen it should be legal. They are starting online casinos too.

due to what has happened in the past a lot of different rules and regulations will have to be in place before it will be allowed. key is transparency in poker sites financials etc

everything depends on the poker site that you will get a license and how much money license if you understand money Play Poker
its not only about the license. more important the company has to be credible. a lot of past sites have swindled players and manipulated thier software
