I believe that the federal government will leave it up to the states and never actually make a decision on it.

Maybe someday will be allowed to officially play all the games.
But you play it now.
Install the program Ultrasurf-VPN and spit on all the laws.

Is this something you've been able to use to play on poker stars and such? That site was the coolest ever

My Internet provider blocks partypoker and I have to use the bypass the lock.
At the moment everything is going well.

It is very bad that in America poker is banned, there is really no huge competition, if poker was allowed in all countries of the world, it would be much more interesting, there would be a strong competition.

The united states is suppose to be the land of the free so why cant the people choose to have poker.

well its a money racket and when they find a way to tax it then it will be legal for online just like drugs they found way to tax weed so its being legalized

I think that we will see a slew more land based casinos in the USA. Long before we see online legalized across the US.

Yes it's unfair that it's forbidden in the US, it would be nice to join so many players and online poker, some of the strongest poker players ... we'll wait for this day with impatience))

Yeah, it is so upsetting not being able to play on the most trafficked and popular poker sites because I live in the U.S. BOL and ACR are alright though.

For those who like to play online poker, can play in online casinos using VPN, in order to hide their ip-adress. Does not this work? I think this helps

The US has too much lobbying from the wealthy casino owners and it will most likely be a long time before it is legal in the U.S. again.

There really isn't any benefit to legislators to allow online poker so it probably won't happen for a while.

I always had doubts about knowing why real money poker is banned in the US, now I'm beginning to understand.

I signed up for BetOnline earlier this week. Wish I had found this site before depositing money into BOL. Within the first 5 to 6 hands I picked up on how rigged it is, Every flop has a low straight draw, and a high straight draw. I can pretty much narrow the turn to 1 of 3 to 4 cards, and I am usually right. 4 times I have flopped a set only to be beaten by a straight or flush. I have had AA 7 times. It has only held up once. It is ridiculous. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS SITE!:)

If the Americans do not use VPNs I don't think we will see them again, at least not in the next 4 years.
I think there is more chance that the next huge wave of new players comes from China (tiny chance but nevertheless) than from USA. But in general I think the player count will further be reduced through stupid laws and ignorant politicians.

I agree, the country in which was the beginning of this game, can not just abandon it. In the modern world, everything changes rapidly, and politics decides much. We will wait, I think soon see the changes
