YUP.. he can beat Isildur 'but' he cries when he busts out of his $10 freerolls on ACR.

You are a total whackjob! Take your meds.!

Actualy he did not win from victor[said it himself] but lost  suprise!!!!!

And he needs way more than medicine i advice a clinic for a while without internet access;) :D

And he displayed his very bad knowledge of on-line poker yet again by his last comment because it is terrible of-course to make a profit out of 10 mtt's in 2 days right?

It's not presented in the best format ever. I merely glanced at it and just saw a bunch of 0s. I thought the guy was trying to say he was great because he lost 10 in a row which made no sense. But please tell me HOW you KNOW his last 10 performances?

Thank you for allowing me to be "intitled" to my opinion.

When he first started playing, before he was sponsored, I beat him EVERY SINGLE TIME. I don't remember, but the most he ever lost at a time was 3 or 4 BIs before looking for another table.

But, yes, overall, in our long-term games that went for YEARS he ended up with the advantage. The final hand we played was by far the biggest post we ever had and he, as usual, hit runner runner to TID. Considering that even though I was ahead of him lifetime before that pot, it was clear that his wins that went to showdown (with which him was most of them because he was practically an ATC shove AI donkey) I'd say at least 50 if not closer to 65% of the time he won, he came from behind, and sometimes way behind. Other times, he GII drawing dead (like against Antonius) and I just sat there stunned but happy to collect the chips. But, I will say, against him, Durr, Colman, Galfond and a few others, essentially NO chip stack lead was safe because they could always pull a rabbit out of their hat. IMO, against me, and also against plenty of others that I watched, he seemed to run like god. The same sht that I made the mistake about bitching about on here, where I have quad aces and he hits runner runner royal flush to TID.

The thing was, though, I didn't bitch about him sucking out. I knew it wasn't a winning strategy. Mine was. I also wasn't complaining that anything was rigged or that he was cheating, because, again, up until that last pot he was behind in our matchup and lost more than he won. It was just a super super aggro super super high variance strategy that he employed. I saw him DESTROY inferior opponents with it because they were super nitty and wouldn't call 200BB AI reraise after raising to 10-20BB unless they had the nuts. Doing that often enough, he just chipped away at their stacks until they got fed up and left.

I RARELY call out any poker pro for their play. I can watch Esfandiari or Laak donk off stacks upon stacks or play like amateurs in lower tourneys (even the Main), but that's in isolation. Overall, there is a reason why Esfandiari is now near the top of the money pile. Sure, he "got lucky" because he ran good and played good. But not everyone is as capable of taking advantage of those chip-eating opportunities when they present themselves. Then you have someone like Phil Hellmuth. Against top pros on tv in cash games, he seems like a fish out of water. He tries to berate Sean Deeb for being a suckout donkey moron and Deeb just laughs as he stacks more of his chips. But Hellmuth has the best lifetime performance in NLHE tournaments still at this point. Although if this new breed plays long enough, and he gets off his game, he cane be overtaken. Maybe not for the bracelets record, or the cashes record, but in terms of overall success in MTTs.

He's playing 8-game?? LMAO that has to be hilarious. I remember the good old days when he didn't even know how to play holdem. In his first year, he asked if a straight beat a flush and I wasn't sure if he was joking.

Then again, I should be fair, if both Moneymaker and Jerry Yang can learn to play "halfway decent" NLHE after luckboxing a national championship, anyone can learn, right?

Good player

LOL.

He has apparently recorded and been recorded with like 1000s of hours of online play, right?

Please share with me even one example of good play available somewhere like youtube. And if it is like when he is aipf with A2 vs Dan Smith's QQ and Billy Pappas's PP, don't bother. There was no skill in that survival wsop Main moment. Plus that isn't online recording, which is what I'm asking for.

I'd recommend looking for HU SNG's since that's where he made most of his money.

Not a chance, he is absolutely terrible.

Do we need to repost the video of him stacking off 1m to Antonius drawing dead??

using one hand to make your point is even more sad/terrible
I can show you 10 over 1/2 million$ pots he won! hands no problem but hey if one thing is clear from your posts about isildur1 then it is your absolute lack of fairness, objectivity, knowledge about poker.
And was it not for 2 sessions against hastings he would be a multi million winner overall/lifetime despite his style of playing.
And seeing pieces out of articles like this: "just two weeks ago, Hastings won over $4 million from Isildur1 in a session that is now being scrutinized because it has been discovered that Hastings obtained advice on hands from a database of hand histories collected by Brian Townsend. The collection of such a database is a violation of the Full Tilt Poker Terms of Service" and the by many believed help or even playing of 2or3 other players helping hastings rumors i for one say that hastings winning those 4 million stinks to say the least, but hey shit happens.
But saying that victor is a terrible on-line poker player is bs to say the least:tongue: :stupid: :thefinger  :icon_king  :stupido: :boxing: :withstupi :thumpdown ;)

Yup. nutsmoker is obviously delusional.

Anyone who watched sessions on FTP HighStakes cash game when isildur hit the scene would know far different. He was crushing the guys who were killing it. He was hammering out Tom Dwan & others who were at the top. How could someone suck who is beating the best in the world? ... yah.. that makes sense. BUT nutsmoker had him crushed (lol) except for a badbeat or two in 2 hands vs. him... otherwise he'd be Nut Crastings & taking home 4o million (or TRILLION if the other player's parents would just up it).
So laughable. Puhhhh leazzzzzz.

You clearly fail to see the point, but hey, you're a member on here and a foreigner, so I don't know why I'd expect anything less.

IF he "profited" 2.4m on that many hands, I can pretty much guarantee that he risked at least 8m to make that happen. UNLESS he has significantly changed his approach to the online game. Back in the day, it was pure aggression SUPER high variance bullying, plain and simple. But he is playing 8 game, which he never did and you keep posting tourney results, which he never did. As I said, people can change.

I just find it hard to believe he has changed THAT MUCH. It is an INSULT to ACTUAL good players to even SUGGEST that he is THE BEST. Even if he has improved in the last few years, his lifetime he is far from it.

As I already explained, I know from personal experience. If it wasn't for the very last hand we ever played together, where he gave me my biggest single hand loss, having bet 300x on a flop where I flopped the nuts and I snap called expecting a huge payday. But, nope, as he had done 1000x times before, it comes runner runner and he takes it down. Even he said "guess I got lucky there" "I said, good game, you'll have to find other opponents from now on" Before that one hand, I held a significant lifetime advantage over him from the day he joined, well before he was sponsored.

But whatever, keep praising your online god. I've already stated I have no access to the site right now, so I have absolutely no idea what he is or is not doing right now.

I've been asking for 5 pages for ANY video proof of good play, and still none. Just your guy's opinions.
