I've asked you for video and you have none. This was the VERY FIRST result on youtube, him losing 300k in 2 hands to Phil Galfond (A REAL PRO)

Enjoy!

They can just keep coming all day, although this is live and I wanted online.

Spoiler: Not good to 4 bet shove when you are 4% to win.

Sorry was away for so long, just watched him lose online for 30 minutes in a 200.400 PLO HU match. He would have been a BIG loser, but he, as always, finds a way to call pot flop, pot turn and then get paid off when his opponent flops the nut straight, rivers trip 9s (meaning an unlikely card to come) and YOUR HERO hit his 2 outer for like 40k profit.

Oh, this was less than a year ago, so this is "new" action of your hero online.

IF he "profited" 2.4m on that many hands, I can pretty much guarantee that he risked at least 8m to make that happen.
...And this matters why? In the end he's profiting and he didn't lose anything.

How is this different from you putting up $38.50 from a stake to profit $17.99 in a tournament?

You're one of those people who would say somethng stupid like "But how much did you lose?" If I were to tell you I've made a $2K profit in online tournaments.

UNLESS he has significantly changed his approach to the online game. Back in the day, it was pure aggression SUPER high variance bullying, plain and simple. But he is playing 8 game, which he never did and you keep posting tourney results, which he never did. As I said, people can change.
...Isildur plays just because he likes the game. He learns while playing and doesn't care about money. After he crushed NLHE, he moved onto Omaha with vary little knowledge of the game and learned from experience.

But, hey, keep believing that someone is a bad player because you don't understand why they play or because they do things you wouldn't do. Keep losing money playing those micro games playing like the pro you are.

I just find it hard to believe he has changed THAT MUCH. It is an INSULT to ACTUAL good players to even SUGGEST that he is THE BEST. Even if he has improved in the last few years, his lifetime he is far from it.
...What's more insulting is you thinking that you're a good player.

Phil Galfond, one of the best omaha players in the world has Viktor Blom as 1 of 3 players he doesn't have an edge over. And mind you, when Blom started playing, he didn't know what he was doing in Omaha. Galfond crushed him and now Isildur is even with skills as far as Galfond can tell.

As I already explined, I know from personal experience. If it wasn't for the very last hand we ever played together, where he gave me my biggest single hand loss, having bet 300x on a flop where I flopped the nuts and I snap called expecting a huge payday. But, nope, as he had done 1000x times before, it comes runner runner and he takes it down. Even he said "guess I got lucky there" "I said, good game, you'll have to find other opponents from now on" Before that one hand, I held a significant lifetime advantage over him from the day he joined, well before he was sponsored.
...Wow, that's brutal! You must've had your entire bankroll on the line and now you're playing $10 freerolls and losing. :(

You aren't even trying anymore with your lies.

But whatever, keep praising your online god. I've already stated I have no access to the site right now, so I have absolutely no idea what he is or is not doing right now.
...Pretty sure he's doing a lot better than you.
Reply to your staking thread that you've abandoned.

The only mistake Blom made was going for a high level play against an amateur player.

I did your work for you, although it was difficult to find. I searched for big wins online and found the motherload. These are his top 20 biggest pots won HU. It's in a weird format, which doesn't tell you anything about where they were playing or anything and mostly seems to be the same level PLO regardless of who the opponent was.

So, congrats, he won 20 huge pots. Most were 400k, 1 was 1.2m. Like 2 (or at best 3) were against Phil Ivey (who hasn't exactly been playing well online lately but I'd still put him up against him anytime) and I think another 2 were against Antonious (since we know he has dominated him). For fun, they include a couple against Hastings which is funny considering how much he got killed against him. But is primarily Zigmund and plenty of durr. Basically, Zig, by far, the most likely to shove all in way behind and durr willing to shove whenever he sees value. Out of his millions of hands he has played, it's not surprising to see these 20 hands here, especially given the stakes he was accustomed to. Plus, I love how it starts off with him shoving on the flop and hitting runner runner to TID. In YOUR defense, though, out of the 20, he seems to get like at least 10 times where he is killing like top set vs 2 pair, which is a pretty easy win even in PLO.

AND, I will grant you that it is a feat for ANYONE to win this much in 20 hands of poker at any level.

BUT, do you really see this as evidence of greatness? I don't.

I'll continue searching.

I love that the guy narrating points out that blum is like 45% or so to win when he loses what was the biggest pot in history online at the time (1999)

The thing about Viktor is that tons of people criticize him (especially for his Omaha play) but there's probably less than 1,000 people alive that have ever played at his level.

Yes, he's had monstrous swings and gone busto before -- show me a major pro that's never been busto...

At the same time, I've also seen him bust out Tom Dwan. I've seen him bust Antonius. I've seen him more than hold his own with Ivey.

His style of play isn't something you want to study -- but to try to discredit him as a major player just shows people that don't really know poker or its history...

Nice result in a mtt 2 days ago he is imo on his way too win a big one aldo the last week he was very active in the cash games.

08/04/2016 $215 Fat Thursday [Turbo], $65K Gtd - Guarantee Boost! $200.00+$15.00 2/435 $11,440.50

I think he was waiting for the usual human calculators[you know players that i think nutcracker like's with no creativity or game just numbers] too go away and who bore 99% of all the railers.
And hey don't get me wrong i understand why they play like that i just don't respect it but! imo shows zero respect for the game of poker and goes against everything i love about the game[but i am a 99% live player for 25 years now] and off course math is a part of the game but are imo the boring necessity of poker.
And that is why i like the poker player isildur1 he stays true too his game whatever the cost because imo it is the only way he wants/has too play or rather does not play at all.
And since i don't play on line because it bores the hell out of me he is one off the very very few if not the only one now a days i like to see play because a match between ike and ben for instance would bore me after 5 min[if i can stay awake for that long it is] if they ever want?/dare? to play each other like many of the high stakes regulars will not/dare too? play each other because they know they might as well play high low because their games are in fact exactly the same based on math[85-90%] so basicly they/there is no game really so basicly the cards they get dealt is deciding if they win or lose so there is the reason imo.
And isildur is more like michael jordan or john mcenroe or lionel messi naturally gifted they are special they don't think about most what they do they do it! no matter the opponent and they are different without thinking about it.
And that is imo the reason that isildur plays like he plays[and he has learned and lost some of his wild hairs the last years so to say] and is one of the reasons i like too see him play and since i don't give a .... about on line poker because imo it has not much to do with poker as such and does not have much elements in it[if any] that makes live poker such a great game and the game i loved too have played for 25 years now and still do very much [recreational/serious hobby that is] and not as high as isildur for instance but with what i have won in those 25 years[ i am a lifetime winning player] you can can buy a very nice middle class house and was responsible[poker that is] for me being able too pay for me too started and finance my now sold business 23 years ago and made it possible for me to retire on the age of 46 years old and have a houseboat that is paid of and a little house by the water[well inherited from my grandfather] and a nice boat to go there[the only way also]that are also paid of in full, and! i can play 2 times a week play poker if i want or feel like it.
And sorry for the long post but i felt/wanted it of my chest so everybody knows where i come from so to say and if you don't it does not matter too me either way, THE END.

Well it is clear now why victor was not on-line last few days.
He was/is playing the main event of the Barcelona ept.
Currently 44th in chips on day 2b.
But it is early days yet but a tourney like this luck is a necessity too come even close too the final table.
And seeing he has not played many if any live tourney poker this year or ever and in tourney's like this there are quite a few specialists/experienced players so very small chance to make any big score but hey if your in it you can win it!! right?. LOL
And i bet there are quite a few cash games being played around a populair[because barcelona is a great/beautiful city, and has great food/restaurants and a great nightlife/bars/clubs] ept if not the most popular ept of the tour, so maybe there is a chance too win[and loose off-course] some good money.
But as always time will tell right?.

Well a bit as expected/feared he is out of the main event.
But maybe the EPT High Roller (August 26-28,2016) - €10,000 + €300 is a better fit for victor less people and more suitable for victors quality's imo but we will see what he does i for one would like to see him enter.
But like always time will tell right?.
To be continued.

But if the "retired" Fedor Holz is playing, he'll probably win it. :)

It's like the one year Erik Seidel was crushing the high rollers and was winning everything in sight.

Seem that isildur is having no money/bankroll to play with at the moment.

But i think he can at any time come on-line and win big 6 or even 7 numbers figures but to be honest i don't think there are much players left that dare too put high 6 numbers losses on the line and with that how many have!! that kind of money anymore or available too put online.

But there are slowly coming big money[or at least have lost and won a million plus in one session] players back online so that can rise the chances of a big 6 number[or maybe even a 7 digit????] session.

Because if isildur has a few good days he can have a 300k or so bankroll and then the vultures will come to circle right?

And if isildur can get a few of them then his bankroll can grow fast as we have seen many times, but off-course we have seen it going the other way many times too.

But hey who can tell right maybe we never see a big win from isildur again and i am just writing down some wishful thinking and some never too happen again hopes, but i have some nagging little voice in my head called faith, and if i have too choose between the 2 i choose that little bit of faith!!!

Because it is telling me that isildur is!! going too make that big upswing in the coming times, call me crazy but!! i have faith what do you have?. LOL

And like many times before i say that time will tell right.

To be continued.

Well this is not what i hoped for!
Winning 119k yesterday and loosing 130k the next day.

I think that he should not play that joiso anymore on mixed that russian is just too good in that game.
Isi even played 6!!!! tables[at the same time mind you] of 100/200 plo and had a small profit.

But the 400/800 mixed game[against loiso] made up for 100% of his loss.

But hey on the other side part of his popularity[certainly among the railers] exist because he plays everyone!.
And a lot of other HS players are disliked because they don't play many players in their chosen games.

Aldo it is a from a bankroll/financial point of view it is a logical decision, but among a big majority of the poker fans/railers it does not! get them any respect au contraire imo.

But many people's conviction is that isildurs 1st motive/reason to play poker is not money[and i am one of them] but the thrill/rush of playing the game of poker on the high stakes level and the love for the game of poker as such and doing it in [still] a aggressive style that very few HS players if any at all dare?.do?/choose? you tel me.

And i know the don't for financial reasons and that is probably the wise thing to do, but 98% of the fans/railers don't give a .... about that they want to see the action the bluffs the bullying that isildur always[in the past more then now] provides[d] basta!!!.
