Good evening to you all. It looks like the Appellate Court has ruled against the DOJ in the case against online poker which could possibly clear the way for online poker to come back in the United States in all 50 states what do you think of this recent development that just happened about 5 hours ago. https://www.pokernews.com/news/2021/...-act-38556.htm

This was very good news. Thank you Appellate Court. Hopefully things will open up to us all real soon, especially the unlucky ones like me stuck in backwards Missouri...

Very good news. Looking forward to having more legal options here in the states.

Good. But now I'm thinking probably ban of poker isn't such a bad idea. I see enough downsides in our favorite game. But we have legal cigarettes, alcohol... and after legalizing weed in many states... and it's kinda not a drug. And poker kinda isn't a gambling... Thin red lines. To cross or not to cross them is up to people. Ok, freedom is more important. Peace! :)

This is some of what I was talking about before, I just did not see the courts being the biggest advocate for us.

Seem like regulation of online poker will still be on a state to state basis, just as it is already, and just as it is here in the EU. So probably this ruling is not quite as important, as some are hoping for. As I see it, it basically just wont stop the process, which is already ongoing and has been for years. But nothing indicate, that people from all US states will be able to play on regulated sites anytime soon, or for that matter on regulated sites against people from other parts of the world. So still no Sunday Million, SCOOP, WSOOP or anything like that for US players, unless they travel to other countries.

Obviously great news. Seems like it's really progressing towards federal legalization quickly. Maybe even within the next couple years!

It is one of the best news about poker I have seen, it would be a great success for poker to return to the United States. And not just for them, I think this would help poker in all countries where you can play online

Interesting that casino money tries to limit online poker in this fashion. I would think every casino/poker interest would benefit greatly with a pro poker online advocacy. Thanks for this good news.

Living in the middle of the "Bible Belt", I don't ever see it being legal in Texas.
