I think the biggest factor is that there are not that many women that are interested in playing poker, instead of taking their available expendable
cash and playing poker with it, they go shopping or on a cruise or spend it some other way. If a woman wants to play, she will find a way
Actually, common sense tells me you may be right about the casino environment - the atmosphere can be intimidating at the best of times for men or women, especially for novices. I still believe the perceived ideas of what poker is to some people supersedes what actually happens in a poker game and honestly, a lot of folks just simply won't find that attractive.I dont know if that's true. I play poker a lot with friends before covid hit. Of the 25 of us I think 11 were women. They loved the game and played well. Its just they dont like the casinos environment at the tables. Sadly I have seen how some of my fellow men treat the women and understand why they dont come back. Its sad to be honest.
I don’t like the casino environment.
