What would be useful to the growth of poker is the opening up of the USA market. I still don't comprehend why online sports betting is okay but online poker isn't. It has to be the casino lobbyists stopping the right for all American's freedonm of choice to play online poker.

Personally I think legal online poker and gaming in the USA is in inevitable. Almost all states are having a conversation about some kind of legalized gambling. As the baby boomers die off, younger people who are tech savvy and are comfortable online, and maybe less conservative (I mean this in the social sense), will begin to demand their state and federal officials to change or modify their laws. The re-opening of the American market is going to be a huge game changer and a source of major revenue for the industry.

I really hope you are correct. I have been active in trying to get it legalized in my state and after years of being told it wont happen and the fact they already tabled it so no discussion until 2025 at the earliest has me very negative on the future of it. Sadly many I know who wanted it have given up on poker entirely and even I have though of not playing anymore is not a good sigh either. While I am sure some will come back I cant help but wonder how many wont.

I think many see poker as extra source of money and want to try their luck and win some freerolls and maybe that will lead them to some extra cash. If they come from some poor country that little bit of money can mean much more to them then it means to us. Especially as poker is now available even on mobile phones which means basically anyone from anywhere in world can connect and play.

I dunno. Until people trust they will get paid, and the games aren't rigged, online gambling will struggle. Every time it seems we are going to see real growth, another operator steals funds or a cheating scheme is exposed. The opportunity for growth is real, but regulation needs to align with operators to provide a fair game with secure funding.

Well, not everyone who joins the internet to watch cat videos becomes a gambler. The need for excitement can be fulfilled also with cheaper ways, like playing just any (addictive) game.

It's same with shopping. You don't need to shovel hundreds of dollars to get the short thrill that comes from buying something new. Buying a bar of soap will get those same synapses firing.

Wasn't it a coincidence that I lost with KK's hand against 33? Because of 33 at flop - Twoo times this weekend- the same deal. Or why some people at the table got only non playing players and I got such table that there is at least one all in per deal. After few lewels the first one got 8x started stuck and I AM tired because at my table I was so deep that all in was BB and win also next all on and my stuck after all is 0,8 what i have at start.
I know... i must know how to Play all those situations to be the best.
