Glad there is another Bengal fan on here besides me! To bad they suck this year, hopefully they can't beat the Steelers on Monday night. I hope you get your money soon.

Sweet! I really think the Bengals need to get rid of Carson Palmer though. After 2006 it was clear he would never be back to his old self.

The Bengals and the Eagles were the only two teams considering offering Vick a contract after he got out of trouble. I really wish they would have tried a lot harder.

Yeah, I use to stick up for Palmer but this year he has really let me down. Plus there O-line is terrible and the D has been disappointing. I was at there first 2 home games. Did you ever get you money off of FT?

I don't know why they try delay it all. Makes no sense, it's not as if they benefit from doing it. Many of casinos do this though but they have more reason to delay it and put in pending hoping you spend it because of the house edge but with poker, you're only pitting against other players.

As for protection, it still doesn't make sense. When you fill in your name, address and card details it all has to be verified anyway to the correct address name etc. So withdrawing back to the same card shouldn't matter, although you are requesting a check so I guess it's different.

No check today. I emailed FTP and they said to email them again if it doesn't show by Monday.

I say shame on sites like FTP for making players wait this long and even at times bouncing their checks. This is my first time receiving a paper check so obviously I haven't bounced a cash out check but I have read of this happening many times. They bounce a check on a player and they say sorry. If players bounce their echecks they get account limitations, suspensions, closures and even taken to collections in extreme cases. Sound fair?

Personally I have never had an issue with FT checks or e checks. All the checks I have had so far have all been good. At least 10 checks and no problem cashing them.

Are they like depositing regular US checks where the bank usually credits around half the deposit until the next business day? Or are they held because they are from outside the US?

No check today. This is really errking me. I deposited, cashed out and received my money from Stars all last week. I wonder why FTP thinks I'm okay for echecks but not for echeck withdrawals. The only thing I can think of is that they know something about their processors/my bank I don't know.

A friend of mine tried depositing on Stars for the first time the other night with his checking account using echecks and was automatically declined. Stars listed a bunch of reasons it could of been and then said try Western Union...lol

I had the same problem when I was with scotiabank. I switched to tdcanadatrust and echeck deposits work fine. I'm waiting on my first echeck withdrawel. I'm thinking I should have selected instadebit instead, might be faster. It says 3-10 business days after approval. I requested about 8 hours ago, and still not approved. My withdraw is with stars btw.

Well, I withdrew $200 on FTP to my checking account today. I've gotten 4 or 5 successful w/d from FTP before. Don't expect any troubles. So if you are legit, you should get paid.

Of course I am legit. Were these successful electronic cash outs? If you look on other poker forums they're many other players waiting weeks and some times a month for FTP checks.

It might be the bank I use but FTP does not give me the option of electronic cash out. Check only.

No check today. Obviously because it is a holiday.

I will say FTP might just have a chance to redeem itself. I went on a $400 run in Rush last night, requested a premium bank wire (the option is finally there! :)) and was approved by the morning. I will be very impressed if the money hits by Saturday.

I know FTP doesn't charge a wire fee but I will also update on the fee my bank charges.

Well, Holiday.

A good day to remember all the Veterans who gave so much for this freedom to cash out and get checks. It all seems so meaningless in comparrison. I do hope you receive your check in a timely fashion. But remember a big part of playing poker is Paitence. Maybe somebody is trying to teach you another assett to your game. Good luck and post when it arrives. BUt not untill. Can you be paitent from posting another post before it arrives?. I might even say the odds are that you can not and lack the paitence to become a true poker player. Than a VET!, for this post. I did. FTP don't, but I'm sure your bank has a hefty one. I forgot what my bank charged at the time, but it was at least $30.

And some people thought Carbon was bad. I received checks from two different Merge sites. Both sent out by same payment processor via FedEx. I received them both within a week. Merge processes all checks on Mondays.

I'm sure the size of FTP may make it difficult for them to have a regular payment processor. That and I believe that the DOJ is after these guys. At some point I hope to cash from FTP but not necessarily anytime soon.

After seeing that thread in that other forum, even when you get your check how confident are you that it will be good.

I understand OP's frustration here because no one here was answering his question of how long checks from FTP take. But, if he read that thread he posted, it had his answer.

I'm sorry if I offended you. Of course I am thankful to all the veterans who have served this country.

As for the status of my check, not everyone reads other poker forums on a regular basis. I simply use this thread to update everyone on my check time in case someone else is in the same situation. This is an informative poker forum, right?

Whoa!!! Just got the same email about my check. Well at least they gave an extra $25 for the wait. Still not sure if I want to use premium bank wire or their regular electronic cash out. At least I know premium bank wire is SUPER fast.

Yeah, I was happy with the extra $25. Not really there fault I suppose. Had the exact same thing happen to me at bodog once. Third party check BS.

Anyway I think I will check into "Use my wallet" option try to make small deposit and withdraw that way. Should be quicker and just as free as regular bank transfer.

I just did a premium bank wire for all but $125. I guess I need a little money to build my roll again. Approved instantly. I doubt wires go through on Saturday so I'm thinking it might hit on Monday.

My premium bank wire that hit today was exactly $37 short. I'm assuming these were fees to the middle man. It's still "pending" in my checking account so I still might get a wire transfer fee from my bank once it clears. I'm hoping $15 or less... I'll deal with $52 in fees if they keep coming this fast.

I've read about long waits using checks and ACH so I guess you gotta pay for speed.
