Given that the casinos are closed it is clear that players will go online, because we know very well that you can't stay too far from poker :)

I starting to notice a lot more players on online
And in tourney
And I was wondering if it From all the quartines. And people are stuck at home so game on
Peace and pockets

Yup for sure !

You can thank Cyrus the Virus !

In a way online poker is perfect for quarantine conditions....

Not in close physical contact with other individuals

You can play online even if you are actually sick

Can not catch the virus from playing online

Very distracting from being laid off or told to stay home for a couple of weeks

Good luck !

Corona virus has done and still let us make a huge amount of troubles! And thank him for recovery of online poker, I think at least properly (especially as I did not notice any change in the number of players at least in the room where I play)

I see some increase in the number of players in pokerstars (i can't comment on other rooms as i play only there). It definitely looks to be related to the quarantine which is applied in many countries. Poker players need to play so it is normal when live casinos are closing players to move online. I am sure that some recreational players are also filling their time at home by playing online which otherwise they rarely do.

Logically it would seem so but who knows for sure I have not seen any reports or statistics to support this as yet.

I have read that In the winter there is definitely increase in online gaming.

Temporary remoteness and suspension of classes and events as recommended by the authorities by Coronavirus make online poker rooms more crowded these days. I myself am proof that because of this I started writing again on this forum.

Do you guys think more people are playing online vs live due to Coronavirus?

As of 2pm on March 17 2020 there were roughly 3000 thousand people in the betonline poker room. In the past year I can't recall a single weekday before 5 pm that more than roughly a 1000. I personally believe it is definitely a yes.

Good Luck to all

On the one hand, I’m glad that the virus has revived because of the virus! But on the other hand, all this resembles a feast during the plague.

If things go further this way, then soon the coronavirus will penetrate the Internet. The first sign is an increase in temperature on my computer, there will still be roofing felts !!!

It's logical to me people , in these times , to play more online game rather than live games (which are postponed , cancelled or ongoing with many restrictions/changes) . Online poker offers have not changed , people can have some fun and some winnings while they remain at their homes . Ofcourse I don't know anything about actual proof , statistical numbers to support this claim , I just find it a logical consequence after these implications and restrictions , for people who know how to play poker , at least the basics .

No sports betting, no horse racing, no live poker, no casinos. Not a lot of options. Online poker or casinos, or the lottery. Lot more players on ACR.

All Casinos Closed

In Mass where I live, all our casinos are closed. Hopefully, they won't stay closed for a long time as we waited so long to get them running, and this has really shut it down. So sad.

Everyone stay safe and cope as best you can.

I definitely think the online poker world will see a huge spike. Potentially the biggest spike the online community has every seen. In my opinion with how this coronavirus is been handled here in the USA I think the world series of poker may even be canceled. It's only a couple months away and the quarantining of people is getting worse by the day. I dont see public social events resuming for at least a few months at best.

i can say that iam recognizing many new offers as well as new freerolls on different poker rooms this weak and the one before.
poker sites are taking advantage of people stuck at home with these promotions and offers.
Definitely online tournaments are having bigger loads of registrations these days.
And that is bothering me .
