As amateur players we tend to think that with AA we are invincible. And we have seen, especially at online tables, that AA does not guarantee anything. Many times you win with AA, but many times you also lose. Do you think that the chances of winning with AA in online poker decrease?

With AA we are not invincible, but the probability of winning is very high, just don't let the other players play and see the card is all in one. It is my experience if you let them see cards they get stronger that's where luck comes (40%) after giving the all in.

as Doyle Brunson said: With aces we win a lot of small pots and often lose big pots). Aces are the best starting hand, but nobody canceled the flop, turn and river).

We tend to remember the times our Aces got beat, but dismiss the times we won with them because it was supposed to happen.

Preflop AA is 80% favorite, but by the river, AA is just a pair.

AA is better vs 1 or 2 players. Against 7 or 8 players it's probably around a 20-25% favorite.

I think it can only seem that you lose AA more times because there are a lot more hands and AA gets more times. In addition, players are also weaker at particularly low stakes, so maybe they will hit the AA more than once because their chances of winning are already reduced against 3-4 people.

No I dont think it loses any more than live, but as way more hands are played online you are going to see them both win and lose more as well. We seem to forget the winning ones though, the losing ones stay with us for a minute.

I don't think so. At all, there is no hand in poker, which guarantee something. There are good and bad starting hands and after that you can loose with every hand. Try not to think so on loosing with AA, I have seen that many people are focused and get nervous when they loose with AA as they thought that guarantee the winning of the hand. The best decision is to deal with the fact that AA can not guarantee anything.

Of course it is not less (or more) likely to win online. Imo people think that because they are playing much more hands online, so they get much more bad beats. And our brain often like to remember hands when we had no luck more than hands we had it :D

True , you play more hands online and that's for you get more bad beats with AA , and people thinks you lose more with AA online , but it's not true at all , u just get more times dealt AA and its normal to lose more times with them then a live game when u get dealt once in a while AA .

No. There are still 52 cards in the deck, and the likelyhood of each of them hitting is the same live or online.

I would say it’s more likely to win online live. In live, you have more callers.

Of course AA is not invincible, and is the same whether playing on line or live. I think some players are greedy and rather than winning a small pot by going all in pre flop, they see the flop and let other players increase the value of their hands and can lose.

No. The more players in the hand the less advantage.

AA is just a pair.

Yall gotta remember that the game you buy into plays a big part in the amount of variance. Poker isnt just about the hand in front of you. I know from experience How frustrating it can be to lose with big pairs to ppl who call way to often. Keep playing your game and maybe try not to get it all in pre too often with aces. Try limping or calling once in a while dont always shove with aces.

online poker is very different from real life poker . online the cards dont fall correctly (and no nobody can change my mind on this) like in real life poker . in real life your aces will hold most of the time against 1-2 opponents . online I cant count how often my AA KK QQ have been cracked (and no it is not because of "muh more hands played online ) . while we talk about it ....today I was busted from a tournament with AA against AKo (all in preflop)

AA IS HARD TO PLAY PRE
Yes, AA is harder to play preflop than 27 off suit.

If you have trouble playing AA preflop, just bet the largest amount you think will get called by one player. If you think someone will call an all in, bet that. If you think they will all fold to a 3X bet, try 2.5X.

As the quality of your opponents goes up, you will want to disguise your hand by always leading the same (in like conditions). You don't want the villain knowing if you are raising with AA or 78 suited.

The most common winning hand in poker is two pair plus. In this crazy game of poker with extreme variance any two cards can win. Be careful at times and don't get married to your hand.

Less likely to win? No. However you will see it happen much more often online then live. The reason is because live poker is extremely slow. On average you're likely to play about 40 or 50 hands per hour sitting at the casino whereas online you can easily play 300 or 400 hands over that same amount of time. For example say you lose with pocket aces once every one thousand hands. That would mean that it occurs roughly once every 20 or 30 hours you play live compared to online where it would happen approx once every 2.5 of 3 hours

4 out of 5 times you win with Hand Aces. But online there are a lot of people throwing money, so you face any card, and apparently, the software likes to break the Aces.

It's the same change in live and online too.
In online you see them many times because you play more hands

No, it s gonna be just the same. You will just see Aces lose more often, beacuse play more and therefore you see AA more often and you see it lose. You also see it win more often though. But thats what you are less likely to remember.

AA EN LINEA

Hi. if online and especially in low-entry or micro-limit tournaments you have no guarantee of winning. Online, it's happened to me having AA and losing to 4-2 off multiple times. and live is not something else there the players hardly go all in with 4-2 off. and online they do it all the time with those hands.
