Hopefully someday I'll visit Vegas. I really want to play there, but first I need to win my first million

Where to eat.

If u want Italian , eat at the Italian American social club great food and staff. Ambiance is fantastic. Also if u want steak go to circus circus best steak house. My opinion lol.

Has anyone stayed at the Artisan, Sounds like a nice place.
Non casino with a relaxed atmosphere,
We would prefer a non casino place to rest without having to walk thru all the slots
Any other suggestions ?

One of my life's desires is to go to Las Vegas and play a bigger tournament. I do not have to make money, I just want to relax and enjoy this atmosphere.

My sister and a group of her friends are booked to stay at Harrah's this summer, for a few days.

Does anyone have any recommendations for restaurants they could try in that general area? within walking distance?

The article is cognitive. I train and improve the skills of playing poker and I hope in the future that knowledge will be useful where it is possible to rent accommodation where to eat while going to the tournament. :):p

I'm a cheapie. probably not the one to ask. I have a bunch of Caesars rewards points so that might influence me.

There is an Oyster Bar right at Harrah's if that is their thing. It wasn't knock your socks off, but I thought it wasn't bad.

There's an Outback Steakhouse on the second floor of Casino Royale just North of Harrah's. My favorite buffet for the price is at Paris.

What are their food preferences?

Wish I could go there.

Wish I could go to Vegas. A few years ago, I took a plane to California, and the plane had a stop over in Vegas. I was fascinated just to be in the Vegas Airport. But, was going to a job, and did not have time to lay over.

I'm sure they wouldn't mind good but inexpensive food - pretty sure they will have at least one dinner somewhere classy, too. Food preferences are all over the map, so give me what you got!

I'll pass on any info you have (or anything from anyone else, too)!

Thanks, tbd!

Another close to Harrah's is Hash House in the Linq. My favorite there can be found under Indiana Favorites: Andy's Sage Fried Chicken. I usually substitute crispy potatoes for the mashed potatoes.

Wish I could go there.

Hey,

wish I could go there. A few years ago, our Son took my wife to Vegas. She is not a gambler, just sight seeing.

However, she went to the Silver and Gold Pawn Shop and had her picture takes with Rick Harrison. lol

Only time I was in Vegas was at the Air Port on way to Frisco.

cya on the felts,
