Sunglasses at the table

I believe that the glasses is a necessary attribute during live games.Eyes give your opponent a lot of information,especially if you're just starting to play the live tables.

I understand that the sunglasses are meant to hide the dilation of your pupils when you are stressed or excited, which would be a tell....what I do not understand is whether opponents can see my hole cards from the glare off the sunglasses....so, I never wear them.

They cant lol. unless you r wearing the very cheaply one

As an old school like me, I just think it's unnecessary. I don't underestimate them but it's easier to spot the fish from the locals when i play live. But whatever makes you feel comfortable!

I believe you are talking about live play. Either way you wearing dark shades is not going to change my cards. So as I will be playing my cards and not your eyes I don't think it will effect me much.

If you play RL-Tournaments and wearing sunglasses is allowed and they dont affect your sight too much, you should definitely wear them.

Especially if you play against experienced players, your eyes can tell a lot without you even noticing.

Does not affect anything because in order to read a person mostly manifests in his gestures and not in his eyes and the perosonas who use that strategy are the most likely to make lanterns or show particular signs with his face

I always watch when a player when they play with their chips and how they bet,,,you can tell a lot when someone bets,,,how they handle the chips,,,little blips n twitchs,,,i used to stand on the rails and watch players and practice. gl,buddy:hello:

I don't think that if you are stone cold poker face or giggle and chat all the time has so much affection on your cards. I mean once I used my laughter to make other players call me. They thought I had nothing but I had AA and that put a smile on my face so this could be a two sided sharpened knife. Also the shades have a reflection, you risk somebody to notice your cards even before you do.
