Being in a casino is fun but I found a couple underground home games where you get crazy action. They have daily 1-2 and 2-5 nlh games running, a 2-4 plo8 once a week and hundred dollar tourneys on tuesdays. The rake is a little higher but the guy who runs it has free food and drinks for players pizza, sandwiches, burgers, chips, candy, soda, and waters so it works out. Gotta be careful but if you find a trusted spot can still make some $$ and enjoy the live experience.

I miss it a lot but that going to not change anytime soon for me. Our casino announced they are permanently closing the poker room one they re open the casino.

I miss it like crazy.. I haven't played in a casino or a poker club for more than a year now and was planning to take a long trip to Marrakesh, to Es Saadi casino during my holiday in early April before the lockdown, and was every night having a dream about playing at the table and shuffling chips. Everything will eventualy get back to normal and I envy every single one of you who lives nearby a casino or a poker club.

I've only played live poker a few times and it made me feel so nervous.As one of the times I made it to final table going out in 5th there were so many people standing around and watching, my heart was just pounding. Perhaps it takes practice. Im so much more relaxed with online.

I was just getting ready to try, I kept putting it off. I live no where near any live action, so it would be at least a 6 hour drive. In April for my birthday I was going to go play in Florida then go fishing the next day. Both were forbidden, I was going to be off from work because of Spring break. Ended up of course out for much longer.

I live in MA and there are several card rooms on the MA/NH border that remain open which is great because it sucked w/o live poker

I was fortunate that where I live we missed only a few months before casinos reopened.
