Omg I've been itching so bad to get back to a live table at a casino. Still all the casinos within a reasonable drive all have their poker rooms closed. Please, please, please let live poker come back soon!!

I miss it enough to be willing to play with a mask and visor from behind a plexiglass.

good afternoon gentlemen ...... the truth I really miss live poker, having your rival in front of you study their movements and gestures helps a lot to make decisions to win high hands, as well as tournaments hours and hours of games but time by time this will happen because nothing lasts and this COVID-19 less, cheers boys and better days will come.

I certainly miss my weekly game at the Pub! I miss the Crack, my Friends I even miss the bad beats I sometimes suffered, although sometimes it was me who was beating them.
I am such a fish when it comes to catching on the river and I don't mind admitting it. But hey that's Poker Ha Ha!

Not that much except for variety once a month or two

I enjoy so aspects of live, but the nearest poker room for me is about 2.5 hours away, so it is a real pain to get to. Also, prior to lockdown, the chips were pretty filthy, so after a long session 8 hours, black gunk was visible under my fingernails!

Dealer error and such was also a letdown, especially when they shipped the pot to the wrong player, and then didn't address it even though other players vouched I had the winning hand, a straight, even though I tabled my cards face up.

The convenience of online at microstakes, and the tourneys, especially freerolls means I can enjoy poker for fun, without playing huge amounts.

On the other hand, riffling chips is pretty fun! And stacking them after winning a big pot is even "funner".

I rarely play live poker in casinos, but I do miss playing poker with my friends. It was so much fun, we play poker, make a good dinner and watch sports. It has been 4 months since the last time I play :(

Dont really miss it at all. You have to listen to peoples B.S. stories and act like your interested. People who take they're time and there's drunks. Ugghh.... plus I used to deal.

I miss the casinos and the home games.

Online poker just doesn't come with the social experience that you get when you've got friendly people who are there for a laugh and don't care all that much about the money. Instead its all about winning. That can get boring for me. But it does teach me a lot that I wouldn't learn playing live, i.e. having a database, hud and learning about game theory and leaks.

So basically I look forward to getting back to live as a better player thanks to playing online. Hoping for villains that haven't played in a while and are rusty :D

I am with you Rick! I am willing to wear a bandana and sunglasses and keep the hand sanitizer next to my chip stack. I don't understand why they can't open the cardroom with 6 players per table? If you can have the casino open there is no reason we can't be playing poker. Everything we do is 'at our own risk' - who knows what we have sat next to at the tables in the past... Several people who looked on the edge of death at times (haha you know what I mean). I think we can figure it out and do it safely enough for goodness sake!

I play online and have been playing more during this time. It is not the same, though it is a pretty good replacement. At the real tables I consistently WIN whereas online I consistently lose at penny stakes. WTH?!

Not being able to play live sucks. It's not the not playing part that bothers me as much as the government telling us we can't play. I think people just need to come to the realization that at some point everyone is going to get the corona virus. Even the medical experts when they talk say they are trying to slow, not stop, the spread of the virus so hospitals do not become overwhelmed. But we should have the choice whether or not we want to risk our health at the poker table and casinos should have the choice if they want to provide poker tables to the public and dealers should have the choice if they want to work at poker tables and so on and so forth.
