A lot I have to say. Even though it's the same game, live poker has its special fun. Playing against people you can see and talk to makes you think you are playing a complete different game since you use tricks and techniques you don't have the opportunity to take advantage of online. That said, I don't mean I don't like online poker or play it. Whatever floats your boat, good luck...

It'slike plying against a robot. half the time you are. lol!

Online is just not the same...

I wonder how live poker will ever make a comeback. We're going to have a nation of germophobes after this. At least until we get a vaccine.

I always only play online. Therefore, any restrictions on live tournaments are irrelevant to me.

Come play live. It's much more fun. You will never see anyone drop a mustardy hotdog on the floor pick it up and eat it online.

Everybody wearing SCBA's while playing at the table would be enough protection. They are only $1000 a piece.

I do miss asking my opponent why he shoved on me and watching the reaction in his face. Or, no reaction in his face and the rest of his body squirms.

I have made some great hero calls based on my live reads.

Nobody misses live poker more than the dealers and others who depend on it for their livelihoods.

Be well!

I'd hate to try to bluff you. its easier to bluff online.

I play mainly on ignition and some on ACR I would say 80%micro tournaments 10% micro cash the rest slots and VP. I lose mostly but sometimes hold on to $50 for 2 weeks. All that said and even knowing a lot more will be lost at a Casino I can't wait to get back

I have this happen all the time:

I have AA and raise from early position.

Late position player calls.

I am betting big on the flop and turn to try to get a fold because I need clarification of your hand AND I'm expecting you to fold - but you don't. You are essentially floating with a plan to shove on me on the river.

The board is usually middle to low - no flush - straightish - and you are hoping to get me to fold one over-pair. So you shove $350 into a $220 pot.

Now I'm confused - and there is $570 in the pot - I don't talk to myself LOL - I talk to you!

How does this makes sense I ask? What do you think I have?

Sometimes they answer and we have a mini-conversation. Other times they are frozen with their poker-face!

Most of the time I make the call to see my opponent show a busted straight draw. They usually missed completely and realize that the only way they can win the pot is to steal it.

Just when I thought to myself I'm going down to Foxwoods when I get my tax return and play in a $300 buy-in tournament, the casino shuts down due to covid-19. The funny thing is that I wouldn't deposit 10 cents into online poker. I guess it's going to have to be freerolls until I can build a bankroll from it.

I miss live poker a lot since 5 years or even more :( In my country politicians made live poker dead. Cash games in cassinos are banned and tournamens became totally nonprofitable, because of irrevelant tax :(

Hello I miss him but not so much, on-line you can also play well and it's fun, but yes, I would like him to come back as soon as possible.

I miss live poker all the time because online poker enters recreational players where there are many situations that these same players do not know very well and enter into hands with marginal cards and end up winning and thinking they know how to play when it is luckier than wisdom . In the live game, much less happens because playing live poker knows that it is more wisdom, knowledge than luck.

I have not had time to try to play poker live. There was no such opportunity. I think that this is more interesting than online.

Why can't we just wear scuba hear and play?

Played last Saturday and Sunday and going to play tomorrow during the day cash 8 max blinds 1-2 and possibly moving to 2-4 later on. No need for scuba, just wear the crown (corona) :D

I miss him a lot when I was single, I enjoyed it without worries, without debt, I got married, I had children, I played and I had a bad streak and I could not get up, since first they are the committed wife, children ... I only hope someday to play again without economic pressure

I miss live poker A LOT!!
I can get practice online. I can learn how to deal with worse case scenarios, being card dead, etc., But it is just is not even close to being like live poker, in my experience.
I have also been dealing with technical issues online that interrupt ot cancel my game.
Anyway....I really want to play live Hold'Em again! I miss my love lol!
