Very well done for the stable plus playing! And the nice history :)
First time I met with this game in the television when we watched this with my brother in 2007 about. I tried the online poker (casinopoker) and I lost my money of course XD but I got a gift: i could feel first the TILT thing XD thank you so much again.
After this I didn't play for a sort time. After this I started to play on PKR what was my favourite poker site. I played lot of. Plus I bought some poker books what I have now too. But I never read these already.
I started to study about the human, his mind and the soul. Because these are more important like an other when you want be successful.
Study about these spiritual thing is not a simple thing. Need so much time, energy and money to this.

2004.

I initially learned how to play poker by playing millions and millions of hands multi-tabling online. Then I learned how to study and improve more later on.

I started as many little rascals have in my day.. watching your elders play in the evenings while drinking a lil booze maybe take a couple puffs and play all night long. In talking about the good old days when you would just play for 25c ante and do dealers choice. Baseball, follow the queen, slide, criss cross. . Jack's or better trips to win.. classic poker games. Holdem back then was like wtf is that lame style.... the game is not what it used to be I tell ya what.. I feel like people should learn the basic forms of the game like draw and stud prior to holdem.. it would make them much more well rounded players in general and to play those house games like our ancestors did before us gives you a better appreciation for the game without all the hype it has these days. You play to try and win a lil extra something everytime but it's more for the fun and love of the game.. cracking a friends skull with 5 aces is epic!

What year did you start playing poker?
My brothers already played it a long time ago and two years ago they taught me how to play

How did you learn to play poker?
My brothers taught me, because their friends came to play at my house every day and since then I am totally trapped in the game.

What heights have you achieved during this time that you met and learned how to play poker?
since mid-year I dedicate myself to online poker, well, I still play freerolls, but my progress is that I almost always stay in the top positions and just today was the day I won $ 28 in a freeroll and I am totally happy and now with more confidence we go for more :hahaha:

I didn't remember the year exactly, but maybe in 2018. I was the leader of an Ikariam guild, and some friends asked me to play with then instead of waiting for the battle results, so here i am until now.

Unfortunatelly my biggest win whas around $10 but now i have more free time and plans to get better.

I started playing poker in 2017, at 888poker I found it fun, but I didn't take it too seriously.
Now it's part of my daily work and poker routine lately.
I was also thinking about the possibility of surviving poker, it was not easy.
I learned by watching videos on youtube reading books and now here on CardChat.

Howdy :O) I started playing mid 80's with my brothers and sisters and friends for fun and Halloween candy. but we would only play 5 card poker and games like go fish and war :O) Our parents and there friends would play dealers choice games, every weekend faithfully from as far as I can remember, I guess we learned from watching them . I didn't get into Texas hold'em till about 2008 my sister put me on to it. Got serious with it about 2 years ago, still a lot to learn :O)

Ancient Player

As the title indicates I have been at this game a lonnnng time, lol. As a child I watched every Saturday night as my parents hosted a home game of dealer's choice, usually nickel and dime. They played mostly High Chicago which is straight 7 or 7 card stud with half the pot to the highest spade in the hole. As well there were a number of wild card games, like hooks crooks and one eyed jacks..In 1960 I joined the military and for 30 years played poker of various types weekly...I experienced a 10 year hiatus from 1990 to 2000 when I became interested in poker again and have been playing in casinos and online since 2002. When did I learn well it's still happening..the learning that is..something new every day gotta love it

About 2005-2006 I think, at Pokerchamps. I watched a lot of poker tv and enjoyed it a lot. Especially Daniel Negreanu caught my eye :)

When I was 7

I started playing somewhere around 1958 when I was 12. My Great-uncle and I played on Saturday nights for match sticks. So that's where I learned the basics.

And here I was thinking I was ancient....

For me I first learned to play in 1968 and by the mid-70's I played quite a bit.
In the early 80's I lost a small fortune and I quit poker and all other sorts of gambling (craps & blackjack).
I started playing online in 2007.
I haven't had any accomplishments (I'm still waiting) although I did place 2nd in 'The Ferguson' on Fulltilt my very first night I played online (2nd of ~1,000 entrants for $114).. oh yah.. and once in 2008 I won two large-field private Freerolls on the very same day (Railbirds... won their $200 freeroll on FTP & also won the one on Stars on the same day).
I also won an 'All-In' preflop freeroll once too for 5,500 euros.
Will be posting the next accomplishment sometime... soon I think but 'it depends'
