I will begin.
Poker taught me to play my own father back in 2009.
Poker is such a difficult game that I played it all the time in a minus and only since 2018 I started making poker, at least some money.
I play poker and try to beat the microlimits since 2018, since October I have been playing stably plus.

In 1997/1998 my dad taught me how to play Texas Hold'em with my brothers and we'd play with invisible money. Soon after he taught me Omaha and let me play for fake chips on his Poker Stars account.

In 2004-2005 my big brother taught me how to play this amazing game.

I play poker since 2010. For the first 3-4 years, I spent money on the game. Then I started to make a profit.

Started playing in 2014,learnt the hard way by losing.then I started to study and read forums etc.this year is my highlight as I have been making a profit.but I should add I play for fun only not for a living.

My Dad taught me and all my brothers when we were young enough to count. We'd play for tootsie rolls on camp outs and popcorn or pennies at home. We learned all the old bar poker games too like baseball, 3-5-7, between the sheets, etc...

Don't remember exactly what year it was but it definitely was at some time during the last 3-4 years i'd assume

I'm a newbie. I've been playing since spring of this year. And all because of the familiarity with the poker school pokerstars.

can't remember when i dabbled but I started playing seriously this year and continuing to learn more about the game and am pretty much enjoying it.

I started playing as a freshman in college, way back in 2004! 🤪

I learned how to play poker with a group of friends of mine that I worked with at the time back in 96 and Ive been playing ever since either with friends at house games or casinos in cash games or tournaments. I love the game

Think was 2002 and just played at the kitchen table. Went online for play chips before making a deposit.

started learning poker way back in 19/79
my brother would play in the poker tourneys i would watch and learn.
then i started playing myself in 19/84
and fell in love with the game playing ever since.

I started playing in 2005, I saw the game on TV professionals where Negreanu played. I did not understand the meanings of the cards, rules of the game, but I was terribly interesting. And then I started to learn to play poker online. But I had a long break. I played at Bwin and Betfair, but we are close. Now I play on PokerStars and 888 and get a lot of pleasure from this game

Thank you. So far, only once took first place in the freerolls for cardschat.

I started playing poker one year ago. I watched live TV broadcasts and immediately became interested in this game.

I started playing with friends around 2007 and was instantly hooked on the game. I soon found Pokerstars and Full Tilt Poker and didn't have to rely on my friends to get my fix. Then I picked up some books on poker and watched as much poker as I could on TV which gradually helped me become better at the game then when I first started.

Ever since i was real young, 6 or 7. Aunts, uncles, my Dad, taught me various card games and forms of poker and we had many poker nights, although my Dad denies this for some reason.

In 2002 when the World Poker Tour came out, i started playing online. Party, Full Tilt were sponsors, so naturally i played there.

I saw poker almost 20 years ago, but I didn’t add much value to the game, and more than five years ago in 2011-2012 I started learning strategies and learning to play free chips in different types of poker, now I play for money in poker - hold'em and Omaha and I try to win either in tournaments or in cash games, I wish you good luck in your games!

I started in 2014, some friends taught me, and my goal is to keep learning and becoming a good player

I can't remember exactly when I learnt the very basic rules , it was around 2005?!? by some friends of mine, I was just clicking buttons at random.Then I stopped playing entirely for many years and back in 2015 a colleague actually learnt me basic strategy.Hope I become better since then.

Although I think I understand the game I mostly play frees and micros MTTs-multi table SnG with some attempts in bigger - more serious buy ins ~$33 MTTs. Still waiting for a good score!It will come sooner or later

I started when I was 10 or 11. Learned it from my brother as he had friends over. Joined a small home game, lost immediately. Thought JQKA2 was a straight

I started playing around 2008 I think... and honestly I don't think that I learned to play poker, I mean I know the rules (from video games) but otherwise I suck

I learned poker watching all of the major tournaments on a local sports channel. Then practiced at PokerStars. Made final table and placed 4th out of 9000+. Played real money and did good.

I like poker as it has skill and luck involved. Strong and tight playing occasional weaker suited and runner cards works for me. Although have seen pocket Aces beat a few times, JJ and higher 'power' hands are always reliable.

I think it was in 2011 that I started my first steps in this poker world ... and it all started when I was looking for a sports program on ESPN ... and it turns out that they were broadcasting a tournament of poker ... so I started watching it a few minutes and I started to like this game ... to such an extent that from that day I started to become more interested in poker ... then I began to search the internet poker rules to learn to play it ...!

I started playing poker in 2018. I began to play when I had a lot of free time and since then I have played practically every day.

2014. Practiced on an app then jumped into it with real money after spending a month on the app. If I win a tournament with prize money worth 200k then I would say my experience has been great but that's yet to happen,lol.

I think I started playing poker in 2015 maybe and I learned it by playing

since I was 10 years old I played poker with my great grandmother and for 4 or 5 years I play pokerstars

Looks like i started to play poker about 10 years ago, in 2009. We had popular poker tv shows on our Russian TV, so that was the beginning , after that i decided to play poker by myself and that was the worst decision to be honest, because i lost lots of money in the first few years.

I started when i was 15 in about 2004 made a fake DOB account on party poker (SORRY) and played the like 10$ freerolls with something stupid like 50k entries per night i felt like i was in a film of oceans 11 some bad ass gangster playing poker.

I learned how to play poker in the social network on VKontakte and played there for about 7-9 years for conditional chips but at the end of 2015 I registered for pokerstars !!! I have no great achievements in poker !!!

My first experience is in 2014, but started regularly more on less only in 2018.

Played Poker I think was like draw poker and learn the hierarchy of poker .I remember we play for pennies and it was a lot of fun as a kid. Then I learn backgammon and ma Jong were my favorite ones growing up
Then when the internet poker exploded fifteen years ago I started to play online and learn HE and the other games for a few years. Then I quit the playing poker for ten years and now back into poker. There are so many resources online and always a game online. I also play live and basically the only reason why I go to casinos to play is because of poker

I started playing somewhere around 1958 when I was 12. My Great-uncle and I played on Saturday nights for match sticks. So that's where I learned the basics.
