What helped me most with tilt was just lots and lots of hands. Sure, it's still frustrating, but when you've seen 500 examples of the villain getting the one card he needs on the river, you get used to it. It happens.

Excellent article - thank you very much! When I have a case of oblique doing this technique. I came out from behind his desk, breathing a few minutes and try to calm down and see myself from the outside: anger, resentment, anger boiling. And I say to myself aloud: Peace collapsed? You lost your home, work? You are dying? Not? You can safely play - go play, you can not - go for a walk or go do something enjoyable. The darkest time - before the dawn!

Looking for articles on how to cope with the Tilt, I found this post, I must say that I liked to read it. Looking back, I feel I recognize several indications that have led me to the Tilt, but I have not taken any possible solution in this regard.
I'm left with the phrase "DO NOT go back to your hand record to see what was lost," is what I always do.:laugh:
I will try to put into practice the advice, and keep reading the other articles.
Thank you so much for sharing it.:icon_thum

Does it get any easier?

Come on! It will never be easy to face idiots maniacs hero calls. The faith is going beyonde of acceptable or understandable. Freaking get deep in my nerves. How con you call a 3.5x raise with K5o, hit nothing on flop, 28Q rainbow as it can get and keep paying barrels!! (Note that I had AQs) The outcome everybody can guess.
It is all I have to say.
As y'all can see I am deeply tilted.

Sometimes, the slight possibility of tilting at any given time already puts me on tilt.

The best way to deal with tilt is to quit playing on time. I understand that this is difficult, I always want to recoup, win and return the money spent. I’m trying to deal with it myself. If you are an online player, then in some rooms there is an opportunity to restrict access to the game for a while, and return in the best emotional state. Or limit the limits at which you play and go down below. This will help you keep the remaining money at the checkout.

I really enjoyed that article, and I learned a few things. What I will take away from it the most is, it's ok to take a little break and miss a few hands, to clear my head.

a break and skip a few moves correctly, but that’s not the point, this is the internal state of a person and you need to recognize him, starting to understand you can learn how to deal with it

Not the point? Lol. You are not only wrong my friend, you're trying to correct someone who merely was making a productive comment. You continue to master your opponent, I will continue to master my poker game.

Thank you for the advice, throughstruggle!

It is something that takes a lot to remind when it hits your state of mind and emotion. And also takes a lot not to let feelings take control in such moments.

I can live with bad beats. what drives me off the edge is the player Raising every hand. I know they are playing a verrry wide range He raises I have 77 so I call. I know I should be folding I'm out of position and should be waiting for something closer to the nuts. Flop is AKK he raises aghhhh. I know he bluffing and I shove and he has an Ace  I had sufficient chips but I was just fed up..

I will try utilizing the article on Bad Beats to improve

what tilts me is when you make a debatable fold because the pot is three or four way and then you find out on the river you would of won 4x your money on the pot. Folding conservatively and then finding out you would of won a bunch of money because you hit your hand tilts me it makes me want to call the next time a debatable call comes around. Usually it is a preflop all in and then of course i miss or get out drawn and lose half my stack. Then I am massively on tilt.

When I watch some donkey call raise after raise with terrible hands to pay people off, then as soon as I try to make a move he has the nuts. That is what usually tilts me.
