Please clarify

Hello, please clarify, if you will, just what a "bot" does. Does it calculate odds? Does it see your cards? can it see upcoming cards? Did it come from the future to remove a more menacing cyborg-bot?

The ones we found on ACR just wear you down by attrition. They play the exact same game and always make you call their all-ins toward the end of the tournament. They never call, they only fold or raise, which is fine, but there were over 170 of them! They play all day and all night and have the same statistics.

All that aside, the point is that there are so many of them, that it's hard for any one person to weed through them all to win or even to make it to the money. Many times the majority of the players on the final table would be bots. Because they all play the same way, and all take lots of time on each of their decisions, playing against a bunch of them really slows down the action, which is probably another way they can wear down the human players.

At any rate, we got them to remove the 170 of them from ACR, but I'm keeping my eyes open for any new ones.

Bots do exist, but they won't win at any meaningful stakes, and won't last on a site like Pokerstars that has actual security. Eventually bots will kill online poker I'm guessing unless a real solid detection method is found for them.

Very true, but I've heard of sites that are actively seeking and deleting bot accounts so thats reassuring. poker stars had a rough spell around in 2010.

I think those with no location and no talking back when spoken to could very well be bots. I also think some of the very aggressive players are also bots. my opinion.

Bots exist. A person can not continually straight or a flush. It's not luck - is a software algorithm.

At pokerstars constantly being checked for bots. Many players play multi-table and probably will not even notice that someone refers to them in the chat. Some simply ignore chat and do not respond. To find out itself impossible which of them bot.

Yes, a lot where they carried out their searches... But no one knows how they are and how they help or not!!!
Poker stars makes a check by sending a message to the player and lock the account until he provides a document, ie will not pass verification...
And the one who creates bots I think he prepared for it! Find documents to confirm your account is no problem... Google help you))
And about the chat I agree, some do do not look at it or close it immediately. And with mobile ustroystva so in General it is not convenient to answer...

not at all..Im telling you what hundreds of players say., They have locations you never heard of. And others say they are bots. I know the regulars and they are the ones that think they are bots.

Illegal and unfair and I know they exist but whoever uses them defends them

I am sure rooms can't afford not to have own bots in expensive tournaments, spins. I would nessesarily do it in their place. It's very very difficult to distinguish and force to make room to do something to this "player".

Bots are evil. They kill interest in the game of poker. This is my opinion.

what kind of games were these alleged bots present in?

I wouldn't be surprised at all if different poker clients used bots.

I'd probably like to try some in play money games just to see how it works but I don't really like cheating and would be scared ofgetting caught too so I'll never do it I guess.

If bots are going allin with 27 wins, and sometimes, I do not mind, let them be. But if the game is strictly designed and no error, this Problem.

If you think that this bot then start treating it. And don't play with him.

these are not just bots these are house bots. Or people that can hack the rng and manipulate the software. Its not hard to do. This is just basic security. bEst thing to do is go play at casino. AFter absolute poker was caught with a super user by not the poker site but by a accidental email sent to a player of a super users hand history in coding and was re coded by a software engineer to see he could see everyones cards. Of course other site are not stupid enough to send a super users hand history. But its 100% proof these sites are using house bots. That should of been the end of online poker but people continue( hoping its not rigged). If you play do for fun and practice but the real money where they use real cards is at the casino. Then you don't have to worry about the rng being tampered with.

Just watching magic612 video. Thats how a normal session is for everyone online that are real players. Constant bad beats with big hands. Hands don't hold up and you might have one good session a week or 2 thats it the rest of the week its this unreal bad variance. And on top of all that don't forget you also have players colluding on the tables.

Here is my problem. First they shouldnt be allowed. Period! And Everyone on Sportsbetting says if you can see a location, they are a bot. You cant get them to talk to you, and there are tons. I wrote the site, and they said they do not allow locations to be shown, and that the people are doing it from their end. That in itsself makes no sense. I just run into one/idiot that put me in everhand with junk, busting my aces. They dont always play that crazy.

What do you think?

Inetersno ... And how do you distinguish bots from ordinary players? I quite often meet "inadequate" at poker tables that can raise all in with UTG having on hand something like 73o and average stack size! I think it's about limits, than they are higher than inadequate and psychopaths less)
