I like to open PT4 and review some hands from my previous session for like 10 minutes. I also go over some of my notes from training material that I've taken recently.
Are you asking what I did for fun or profit before I learned poker? If so I was a casino gambler and still am. I love baccaratt. If you are asking if I do anything to prepare before starting to play a seccion, I dont do anything special.
I prepare a good coffee or juice, separate some snacks, take the dog for a walk, let me organize everything so that there are no distractions during the session.
Turn element on - put the knives on the element . Roll mini balls of pot for spots. Use one knife to pick up the spot . The other knife to compact the spot between the 2 knives . Use a Zig Zag cardboard flap rolled in a hooter to inhale the smoke . Hold in and exhale and repeat .
I usually start by turning off/out distractions.
The TV goes off if I was watching something.
I'll go to a quiet part of the house and let anyone around that I am in a tournament and not to disturb me...I will hopefully make it to the first break to check in with them.
I will check texts and emails before I start.
Sounds funny but I use that bathroom before a tournament ( if doable)...lol
Before I start playing poker I make sure I have bo activities to do for the next two to three hours. Especially when I enter tournaments. I also like to be calm and without people to distract me. And obviously I make myself something to drink and eat. Lol.
