Just use as a sign the player is probably tilted and therefore is going to be almost certainly playing looser and more aggressively than he otherwise should.

Tighten it up, and let the guy hang himself.

ignoring trash talk isn't something I'd consider to be done by 'Angels'. It's actually something that is important for players to learn how to do. It actually took me awhile to learn this. Prior to 2010 there was always lots of chat on the tables. It was rare for a player to not chat - - EVERYONE used the chat box feature and it actually made the experience much more enjoyable for the most part. But there'd also be some a-holes who would be very abusive in the chat or attempt to tilt other players. I fell victim to this too often.
There's ZERO benefit to reading or responding to abusive chat.

Some are terrible players and really terrible people, but others do this to trick you, it's one of the ways to distract your opponent. But if distracted or irritated, it will only harm you, so take notice, ignore it, follow your plans and play your game.

In poker you will find many people who will make fun of you.
Because of your game, because of your nationality, or whatever.
Already in life itself they are mocking, but at the same time they are very ignorant.
The best way to counter them is to wait for your hand and eliminate them.
Those who make fun of you are the easiest players, it is the same as in life they are the easiest.
