Thanks for the advise, this is also appreciated.
Ps. Always liked that funny quote "if you call, ill show"
I also show my hand alot when im winning which im trying to stop.
LOL, thank you. The full quote "If I shove and you call, I'll show" is just a little subtle poker humor in an all-in situation before the river.
If you are going to win the hand at showdown, you have to show your cards, though I'm sure you know that already. But I think I see what you mean, in that you are trying to stop showing your
hands if you induce a fold and you DON'T have to show. I rarely, if ever show the winning hand if I win a pot before showdown.
Best of luck in your poker endeavors.
I am sure that meditation helps the best in such cases. But if you do not practice meditation, then a regular walk also helps to recover well.
This is an excellent point here Lena!!! One should NOT underestimate the value of doing some form of exercise. It will help clear your head, and aside from the obvious physical benefits to exercise, the other benefits, which aren't seen by the naked eye are also extremely important.
Forget about poker! And not to remember for a few days!
Yes, sometimes just pulling the plug on poker is sound advice. If we are so hyper-focused on playing and studying all the time, you'll burn yourself out. It helps to have some form of balance in your life, such as having other hobbies, being around people whose company you enjoy (family/friends), or, as I mentioned above, exercising.
Then, after a few days have passed, you'll be back at the tables, feeling refreshed and ready to play and make the best decisions possible for whatever situations arise.
