Respect is obvious at live tables, online players tend to write in chat after they take a bad beat and what we see is ****** *****:D:D

idk bout some but i just wondered if people respected other players that are playing at the same table as you? or are they just a player that you have no care in the world for except for taking their chips?

its just strange how poker can make you become so much more aware about how you are as a human? though from other people around you , you can just be a robot glued to a device screen thinking up ways to out do your opponents.

hope this post isnt too boring or off topicish

but for me its still part of the journey of self-discovery in order to help me grow as a person aswell as build character as a player

#This_runs_deep ;lolol

peace out and good luck at the tables all.
I don't respect other players at all. I don't usually loose all my chips at once but whenever I do, I call that player a filthy name. Like a really BAD word. GOOD LUCK[emoji33]

I think sometimes when we play online poker it seems like we're just playing just another video game. We forget that there's real people playing with us. The chatbox helps us remember we're all human and we should show some respect for others. I usually just respond to angry comments with a "have a nice day" or "better luck next time."

only players who get less respect are players who earned less of it.

respectful to the opponents should be treated, respect for yourself and others as a method of personal growth, poker players are improving themselves and it is important what kind of world we create

I do not invest much sense in the concept of respect for other players. First of all, poker is a battlefield in which the strongest wins. Of course, do not insult anyone and do not treat with prejudice, it is primarily a disrespect for yourself.

I agree with respecting other players. However, this is also promoted with the donkey and devil emojis on pokerstars.

It is important to respect players at the table, whether live or virtual. It is that regard for other players which will give you the focus and careful play that you need at the table. We have to of course separate the idea of not agreeing with the players fold. bet or raise and taking advantage of their tendencies at the table. This of course is not reason to disrespect them at the table, regardless of how annoying they may be as a player. Everyone deserves respect, it is the humane thing practice each day.

I will show everyone respect until they give me a reason not to. Even if they give me a reason it doesn’t mean I will do or say anything outright, I may just note what they did or said to change my opinion.

If a player plays well I absolutely will respect his/her ability on the table. Obv if a player is playing like a complete maniac or donkey I will note this as well. Open shoving any 2 repeatedly will cause me to lose respect for their game. Also, making bad calls and ridiculous plays will limit my opinion as well. A player earns my respect or loses it through their actions.

I show everyone respect. I also rarely monitor or engage in chat since for the most part it seems to be either no response or toxic.

But then again I have on occasion had some real nice conversations during play with one or two players and it's almost like being in a casino.

In all cases, you must respect your opponents and understand your decisions. I think it can only be a good poker player

Definitely respect at a table.

Online, I only see icons, do not interact at all, and with the volume of play online, interaction is almost non existent.

I don't look at them as a person I look at them as an adversary. I need to find a way to defeat the villain.

I simply play the game and always treat people with respect even if they are rude to me because how other people act doesn't bother me anymore I use to let small shit like that bother me but life is short and to delicate to let stuff like that bother you :)

Human morality, virtuality, are such things that, or an human been was born with or, while child, are very well introduced to it (us).
Botton line is, give respect if you want it too. One who says anything it wants, hears anything doesn't want.
But ignore is the best remedy.

I respect the players at the table, and I think that the players at the championships in live tournaments or online also respect other players, but I sometimes meet on the tables players who name-calling and insult other players, I think that this is a bad deed and bad education and appeal to to others!

Respect

Since we are humans and believe in Religion our species seems to need to live in community since the beggining, Respect other players is the basic principle to get humble and play your game. This do not mean that beeing agressive is a bad thing .

I think it depends a lot on the person himself, on the personality that he carries from his childhood. In my case, the more respect and admiration I have for my table mate, the more I can feel confident to develop my game. (good atmosphere is everything in life)
