Yeah, you making a bad call and sucking out is NOT to blame for your injuries. That burden falls completely on the ****ing moron who attacked you. I really, really hope he falls under some 3rd strike type law and does serious time for this. People should not have to fear getting beaten up for the way they play poker. It's bad enough when people get verbally abusive at the table but taking it beyond that is just psychotic.

I hope your issues clear up as you heal and that there will be no long term effects. gl

guess you have to factor in pot odds implied odds and more importantly odds of being beat up if you get lucky ,which is what happened ,being a bit of a gambler i,m not sure i would have called his 60 if i,d looked into his eyes, you probably need to understand what the other fella will feel if you do beat him given as he says you had nout really,makes you think anyway,

This is really terrible to hear. But it makes you think about how poker used to be. When Doyle was playing in his early days as a Texas road gambler you might not have security; you could get shot and nobody would care because you were seen as a degenerate. Good thing for casinos; I never thought I'd be so happy about poker's popularization. I have heard stories about scuffles in the high limit games at Bobby's Room, but never anything this bad.

Doesn`t help a lot if an attacker jumps you from behind without warning. I have been hurt myself by a surprise attack of that kind, and I do have self defence training.

they both played horribly and one got lucky, old man bad player beat the sht out of the other young bad player. The k4 guy is a drooler, no doubt.

I mean, if people get millions because they put their rabbit into a microwave, just to make it dry. Then notice that the microwave killed the puppy, dont find any warning-sign for those kinda issues and sue the microwave-company.

Then it should be possible to get some bucks from that guy or? Or do these big sums only occur in such "ridiculous" cases in which even the judge has to laugh into his beard secretly..
