I prefer live, for the most part. The odd time, tables may have your “mike the mouth”type, (or even worse) but for the most part, I prefer live. No huds, no electronic tools.
Online does have some advantages. Luxury of the home amenities at close proximity to say the least.

I love playing live. With some of my home games I go to they are very social and you might get 8-10 hands an hour if you are lucky. People get up to go to the bathroom, get drinks or snacks, smoking break. People are having side conversations and are not paying attention. Those home games drive me nuts. Although a lot of times you can really cleanup if people are not paying attention. My patience is always wearing thin in those games.

Live is more fun
I prefer playing games at a real table, with live people
It's much more entertaining than online
because you get to interact more with the individual personalities
but, like you say, with the Covid
it's just safer for me to stick to playing online for now

I prefer live poker because of the atmosphere and hanging around with people talking at the tables…..
playing online is more comfortable cause you can do it at home, don’t have to drive/travel somewhere and it is much much much cheaper to play (no travel expenses, lower buy ins)….
playing online for me is a everyday thing, and playing live is a highlight I treat myself for a few times a year

Live poker hands down. I do enjoy the easy access to online poker but playing live has so many more advantages and there is something about the clacking of chips, face to face play and the all around atmosphere.
Not to mention no worries of bots or suspended tournaments due to software!
