Oh man I played live and it's fantastic and I was nervous and in a few days I managed to reach a final table and profit some in cash game and my heart was racing I looked like a newbie I really liked playing live.
Hello.
I like to play poker at home, online, because home is the most comfortable atmosphere for me. In addition, during a pandemic, it is necessary to avoid unnecessary contact with other people.
I love playing live poker, it's a different adrenaline rush, but with this pandemic we just have to play online. Hopefully soon we will all play in the cloth again.
I agree 100%
There is nothing better than live poker. The experience of from the drive and/or walk to the casino, the anticipation that builds, even being on a waiting list can be an ok part of the experience. That may sound crazy but I have met some very interesting people just hanging around and chatting while waiting for a seat to open.
On line has been a life saver during these trying times but it's no replacement ( I guess it is what it is and appreciated).
I like to play poker online, maybe the atmosphere is not quite the same, but it is more convenient to play at several tables, not waste time on moving, etc.
In general, I rarely played live poker. I've only been playing online lately. In my opinion, the live game is more complex and requires more skill and experience of the player.
I like both. To play online anytime from home is really cool and easy. It is great to have this opportunity. And live is cool, too. It does not have to be in a casino, playing with friends is a lot of fun, too
Live is more fun and more exciting, online is more convenient and better from practice. Pretty close coin flip. Probably depends on my mood. I'm grateful for both.
Live for the tells, social aspect, and pressured decision making. Online for convenience. There almost two different games in the decision making process. Live is far and away the purest form of poker.
Theres plenty of places all over the world right now where live poker is available in casinos and anytime in homegames in many free countries. I sure hope no one lives somehwhere where friends aren't allowed to get together. Persons deciding not to play live as a personal decision is fine.
