Music or No Music?

I love music makes me relax.

Live games: I don't know if this is weird, but I put 1 earbud in my ear but don't have anything playing. It seems to keep people from chatting to me. At home I put in a movie that I have seen a hundred times.

Personally I do not like the distractions when playing because I desconcentrate a lot, but nevertheless I have not done the test with music but sometimes when I'm playing I see a bit of TV more than all sports:jajaja:

I tried it a few times. But it doesn't work for me. I am so focussed on the game, that it desturbes me while collecting information (because I have no Programm that does this for me )
But I know a lot of people who watch tv, listen to music or do some social media meanwhile and it helps them to stay concentrated.
The only thing I do sometimes is to ruffle my pugs ears :-D

Music should not disturb or irritate. In this case, it's better to turn it off or make it quieter. In general, music is great.

Music without lyrics. Lyrics, whether you consciously listen to them or not, are distracting, even if only in your subconscious brain. It makes focusing on poker tougher. It also slows you to listen to conversation as well to pick up information, at least live.

I listen to music only if it's a really long grind. If I am playing a short session I am usually more focused on what is going on at the table.

If I'm playing at a casino, I definitely do not listen to music. I am focused on the other players at the table.

I prefer not to listen to music because I can change my choices in the course of the type of music ... for example, a happy song makes me happy and I can run ... and a romantic song can calm me down and I throw it back on the table. .. and if it's a rock in Roll, I can get mad and give it all in all the time kkkkkkkk

I cant play without music.And sometimes when i get lucky and take massive pot while some song plays i start to reapet it over and over.It happend to me that i played same song for 3 and half hours belive me or not.And i would played it even more if i didnt bust out from tortument..

Music at the Casino

I tried playing music at a table in a casino, but the supervisor told me to put away my speakers and woofer because the other players were upset with my choice of music: Pipe Bands on Parade.

OK - I would love to do that, but in reality, I like silence when playing.
In live games, some friendly banter is OK, but some loud mouth players are just distracting. I once got congratulated for busting out a guy with diarrhea mouth.
