Change that not every one to most every one, and you'd be more accurate.

It is key for me to be content to follow all the events at the table. When I get upset, then I'm starting to lose.Maintaining concentration throughout the tournament is the key.
sometimes i even need to take a 5 min break

There are substantially more losers than winners. It does not matter if it’s live (casino) or on-line, the odds are stacked against you right from the start. Consider the following.

Nine handed, online, no-limit Texas Hold’em, $1/$2 cash game, $1,000 buy-in.
All players managed to play for five hours without reloading.
At the end of the five hours, everyone has the same amount.

Question:- How many players still have their $1,000 buy-in?

I think that you need to play poker for at least 6 months, in that period you need to learn a lot, watch different videos and try to understand this game better. After that you must start to earn at least anything in poker. If you still can,t earn anything at all, then better not to take poker so serious and play this game only in your leisure time.

How to know when poker is dominating you to the point of making you not realize that you are breaking your bankroll and thus leading you to a financial and pisicoligic defeat?

When your bankroll is getting lower and lower but you can't stop playing. Then you know it's time to take a break from the game. You not making any money, instead you losing it.

We all have wins and loses, there's a saying that winners know when to stop. This is very true. Even the pro players know when to stop.

A great player is not the one who knows how to win, but the one who knows how to lose. Have fun playing if you lose, it was a fun paid, if you win celebrate much, because in addition to having fun still made money.

As long as you don't lose any money- or break even- you will win. Make no mistake about it.
Even if you make a few mistakes- as long as you win- you won't feel too bad about it.

Aside from actual skill, there are more ways to lose than to win.

Who in your life has not tried to deceive yourself thinking that everything would work?
in many times we think that we can deceive ourselves, with tricks of memory, saying ... in the end everything will be fine, and I will win!
We can say that this is rather a first mistake of a poker player, be it beginner or advanced, many say has a limit to play and if wins (x),he stops,to .... or if loses the value (y), he stops .

if you are a winning player or losing player your bank roll should show it,

"Poker Mindset" Second Chapter has a great quote by
Sun Tzu and maybe relevant "Victorious Warriors Win First then Go To War while defeated Warriors goto war then seek to win"

Would You Say that's what you're been saying about Deceiving our selves?

Hmmm Maybe Practice and Training More Before Hitting the Tables Helps...

The beautiful thing about poker is that every hand has a winner (even though there cane be split pots), every tournament has a winner (yes, there is usually at least a few winners but only 1 first place) but all of that can change on the next hand or the next tournament. We all make mistakes, heck, sometimes we play a hand perfectly and still lose, but there is always the next hand or the next tournament to give us another chance.

The ultimate measure of poker is to make the right decisions at the right time. If you can do this then over time you will always be a winner.

I do not know about other players, but for me the main thing is to focus on the game, but this does not always help in the game, it depends a lot on the card that you have in your hand will be played, I have moments in the game that AA KK do not play many times - but it happens that I win on 23-72-98, for me in the game it all depends on how I play the card!

In the beginning when you start playing poker it is normal to think that it is easy game with easy money. You look some events on the television and you tell yourself - these guys are no different than me. They are just sitting on a chair and playing game with relatively simple rules to win big money. I can do it too. Looking at the plain rules of poker it really looks easy game.

Only when you start learning seriously and see how difficult is to take the correct decisions in different situations and earn money in a long term you actually see that poker is difficult game and only the best players earn good money from it. This is change of mind that every poker player should experience before he is able to start building his game on solid foundation. and only the most tenacious who constantly learn and improve will get to the top. :)

Poker is a hobby for me. So I play for fun. But, of course, I am always happy when I manage to win money. In the past, I spent an average of $ 20-30 per month on poker. But now I have substantially improved my skills, and I even managed to increase my bankroll.

I believe that it is necessary to develop sufficient psychological skills to know some things, such as: not playing when you are in a bad day, without concentration, focus, or even physically ill-prepared to endure the long hours of tournament. good basis of what to do or not to do at the tables.

For me knowing my skill level is very important. When I started playing online 15 years ago I thought that just because I could make money playing Micro Stakes, then I should be able to move up and still win. WRONG !! I still do okay playing the small buy-in tournaments. So that's where I feel comfortable and don't sweat losing.

I think the important thing is to set an annual limit you can lose like $10 $100 or $1000 etc. Then you have to set up your daily system to match the annual system.

most are lucky if they break even; that is why rakeback is so important.

that's the fun of poker!

we're all human and prone to make mistakes.

poker is simply a game of exploiting human error -
it would not be fun if everyone was always playing perfectly!
