investing in learning

Acredito que temos uma curva de aprendizado que temos que percorrer para começar a obter resultados, a análise é se estamos melhorando

In my opinion, in your place, i would take a break.
I think such a loss is a lot of time to process, it definitely takes time, and you also need to know why you are losing so much
Don’t take it as an insult who I am to tell someone what to do, just a suggestion!

It depends if you're having fun or feel like you're getting better.

Some people can treat it like a hobby expense, but if you are hating life after losing then I'd suggest quitting or at least dropping down a lot in stakes.

If you are happy to give money to people whose skill level is greater than you, then keep going.
If you are unhappy losing, then stop.

I have been playing Poker on Pokerstar for 2 months and lost 850 CAD already. Should I stop?

Hi, first of all, you should check your EV bb/100 stats, if it about 3-10, you should play. If not, you should work on the game. Here is at CC good free course , how to increase your skill at poker. You should better select the games and select preflop hands. If you want to win and want to stop lose money.

You have to stop when you already lose more than 50% of your bankroll and not have positive results, I understand that feeling of losing and losing then betting everything believing that the game should let you win at least once, and that's not how it works just focus and think each hand do not go crazy, do not get depressed if you lose a lot, it happens to all of us even professionals, just keep in mind that it is a game of emotions but that it does not get out of hand, poker Sometimes it is labeled as being very random and if it is online much more, So do not be discouraged, take some time off and come back when you feel ready, Greetings

No

No, don't quit if you love the game. You should however learn from your play and get better.

Of course you must stop but to play with bets that are not in your range, if you want to play professionally you have a lot of cloth to cut, you must study a lot, and if not then play for fun with minimum bets, because otherwise I assure you that you will lose much more

Study and practice should be the answer.

Since I can't afford to put money in the game I've been on a play money and freerolls streak.
And I keep going for free courses and anything else free related to poker.
Play on the lowest stakes.

If you haven't invested in tools like PT4, Flopzilla and alike I recommend cause it will help you improve on your game and study.
It has helped me finding leaks.

Work on the mental side. Healthy body healthy mind so exercises will help on the mind also.
Meditation.
There's lots of ways for you to keep your mind sharp and away from tilt.
And also can be a way for you to accept that it might be just variance.

There's lots to do before quitting.

If there's a lot of money, don't try to finish it. Give people the opportunity to win them from you.)))

If this money is big for you, then it is definitely worth it. You need to play when you can afford to lose a certain amount of money.

If its a big amount, take a well deserved break. But make sure you think about next playing moves. I usually make stupid mistakes going all in (as a bluff) and get caught out!

Я терял более тысячи долларов в неделю, а затем делал перерыв в покере, но также выигрывал значительную сумму за короткий период.

There are lots of freerolls and promotions in different rooms and you can try to play poker for free and even to win some money. If you don,t have lots of experience in poker or you are not sure about your game you always can play some freerolls or somethings like that.
In the internet you can find lots of videos of how to play poker a little bit better.
Some sites offer this for the money, but anyway there are lots of free information in the internet.
I know some people can easily making lots of money only from promotions and freerolls.
Also if you loose this money at pokerstars, you can always choose anothe rooms for a game.

If you are loosing all thw time, better stop for a while. Try to learn a bit more and understand reasons that you are always loosing. And come back slowly and keep an eye on your game - better or the same?

It is a serious mistake that we all go through when we lose we want to quickly recover that leads us to ruin

You have certainly lost some bad beats, but that happens to all of us. Playing $25 Spin&Go games is risky if you are fairly new to online poker.
No, there are just as many bad beats per million hands in live poker as there are in online poker. We just play many more hands per hour online.
There is a 30 day course right here on CardChat!! Work your way through it, and practice on much lower stakes games. You can play 25 Spin&Go games for $1 and maybe win a few along the way.
Good luck.
Thank you!

Furthermore, I don't know where you are from but I would suggest finding out what other poker platforms you can access besides Pokerstars. I believe ACR, 888, Party ($1K daily), Unibet and others could keep you playing freerolls nearly non-stop. Well, unless you're Keith Richards I doubt you could stay up for more than a week without sleep.
Even Ladbrokes and Coral have a $1K freeroll every evening. Aalthough I would not recommend them as I see them as fraudulent after they banned my accounts and confiscated my funds based on bogus accusations of cheating, just because I got in the money in every one of their freerolls for about a month. Reported them to IBAS and, of course, they side with each other so I got a big flip off and rubbish excuses that they have the right to do whatever they want and nothing else matters. Use them at your own risk.

Is all of that going to make you a winning poker player? No, of course not, but it gives you direction and then you can put in the manual labour productively.

Lastly, everything I said is just an opinion/point of view, which may or may not apply to you so don't take anything personally.

I am in canada. And that's a good idea. I will try to play in multiple platform.

Losing $ 850 in 2 months is probably hard. It is worth considering the appropriate limits and building and maintaining a bankroll. If you like to play, then you need to find conditions so that you can play comfortably and not lose so much that it would hit the family budget. In short, it's up to you to decide!
Thank you Alexander Starovoitov!
