Day 1: 107%
Day 2: 109%
Day 3: 92%
Day 4: 101%

Back on track. It was beautiful... After a semi-horrible day, I was seeming to lose ground, then regain only to lose again. After a playing at a table for a half hour to 45 minutes, with one particular player calling my early raises with nothing and catching several in a row. I decide to lay back and lay low. Eventually the big hand comes. I limp in with 35 hearted, with no pre raises. The flop hits 467 hearts. I couldn't believe my eyes. The hand more than doubled me up. The second straight day with a a straight flush. T'was Unbelievable. It felt nice to finally win a decent hand at PS after a semi-horrible run. Later in the day I won a couple more decent hands and the day is done. The everlasting hover around %100 continues...

May as well join the fun :D

Day 0:100% $5 courtesy of pokerstars to try and get me to play real money tables
Day 7:215% ($10.76)

Should be at more but I horribly misplayed a flopped set that got cracked and donked off about another $1 just on that. Ain't much, but considering I'm not gonna deposit on the site either way, may as well see if I can get something rolling.

Well, the original requirement was a minimum starting bankroll of $50.

However, since I want as many people as possible to post their progress, please keep updating anway.
Once you hit $50 you'll have to reset to 100% though :)

I did this starting at a $100 but wish I had kept track of it everyday because now I am about 8 days in so I will go back and calculate it and update. Nice to see you guys doing so well.

You don't need to post all the individual days if don't have the data. Just post it for the days you have.

Day 0: 100% ($131.82)
Day 1: 90% ($118.17)
Day 2: 103% (135.32)
Day 3: 101% (133.67)
Day 4: 112% (147.64)
Day 5: 124% (163.08)
Day 8: 134% (177.25)

Got a little out of sync. with my days! Days 1 - 5 above are the days when I actually played, NOT the current day minus start day ie I didn't play on day 3, but on day 4 I did play (but it was MY third day's play)!!! Sorry for any confusion. Today is day 8 - so back on track now.

As for the poker it's self, low stakes limit poker on the ipoker network appears to be a licence to take money from fools. Oh I do hope it lasts!

Haha, well I'm an idiot for not fully reading the OP. When I get to 50 I will gladly reset and restart :D

Day 7: 233% ($4,667)
Day 8: 254% ($5,089)
Day 9: 277% ($5,531)

I've played my first 900 hands of $1/$2 No Limit and have made a bit of a profit so far. We'll see how it works out from here.

Apart from a few SNGs, today's main source of interest was my first $100+8 MTT with 300 entrants.
The hand that broke my neck was very unlucky. I flopped the nut straight, my opponent flopped eights and fives. We got all the money in on the turn and he rivered an 8 for a full house.

Had I dodged these 4 outs, I would have become chipleader and almost certainly would have made it to the final table.
But "would have" doesn't count in poker, so I'm gonna have to be content with 17th place.

Day 6 - Didn't Play at all
Day 7 - 160% ($1044)
-----------------------------------------------

Played 8 SnG's tried bashing at $30 for half of them, 3 no cashes and a 1st meaning i turned a v small profit from the $30's but did a bit better in the $20's so still gradually grinding! I can't believe there has been no downtrend yet, I dont think I have run so good in a long time, it cant last forever!

This seems like a very good idea. Would like to join also. I have recently opened an Everest account and will be playing there mostly in the foreseeable future. Bankroll is exactly $50.

Therefore

Day 1 = 100% ($50)

Day 79..107.6%....
Day 80..103.0%....
Day 81.. 99.1%....
Day 82.. 97.5%....
Variance bit me in the hams. Couldn't win a session at limit. Playing within my BRM zone kept it down to a few % / day loss, though. I probably will have to give up on my bid to make silver Iron Man this month; One-A-Day still easy.

Well, it was bound to happen. I'm not exactly sure why beats always come in streaks but that's the way it is.

I got sucked out a whole lot today. Thankfully, it didn't affect my play. I made a few great laydowns and great calls but once the money is in with the best hand there's nothing more you can do.

The sessions started out well. I took down a $600 pot with a set of deuces. But it was all downhill from there. I had the best hand just about every time and still managed to lose by the river.
I stopped playing after I fell just under the break-even point because poker annoyed me a whole lot today.

A longer than normal session (for me). Even being hyper-critical, I can't say that I did too much wrong. This good run can't last, but with the standard of play at low stakes limit ring games at Betfred, I wouldn't bet against it! At one stage, I did question whether it was ethical taking money from people who don't seem to understand even the fundamentals of the game. The question of my ethics lasted less than 0.2 of a second, then normal service was resumed.

Well, just won the biggest cash of my life so far so here goes:

Week 1 - $118 (100%)
Update 1 - $158 (134%) - Came home a little drunk yet got really hot and placed a couple of times in SnGs. Have not played too much with a lot of work at uni but tonight will try to keep this run going.

Folks, keep those updates coming!

To all those who may be running bad at the moment: even the top pros are not immune against variance. Take a look at Chris Ferguson's most recent graph - he fell all the way back down to $12,000!

Progress Update

Day 0: 100% ($2,000)
Day 1: 96% ($1,920)
Day 2: 105% ($2,101)
Day 3: 99% ($1,982)
Day 5: 121% ($2,421)
Day 6: 169% ($3,375)
Day 7: 233% ($4,667)
Day 8: 254% ($5,089)
Day 9: 277% ($5,531)
Day 10: 251% ($5,020)
Day 11: 250% ($4,996)
Day 12: 265% ($5,291)

I played a bunch of SNGs, had ups and downs but ended up with a bit of profit. Nothing overly exciting happened today.

By the way, does anybody know a site that can produce graphs that can be directly inserted into forums?
Looking at Chris Ferguson's graph, this is a very nice visual representation of how he's doing. But there would have to be some automatic solution for everybody to use.

Does anyone know?

I attempted to search for online graphing and nothing much came up except pokertracking.com. I believe I recall others here at CC mentioning it at one time or another.

It was fairly simple to use. I tried to display percentage data. But it obviously didn't work because the bottom should represent "Days" and the Y-axis should rerpresent "Percent." Other than that it was cake. Shouldn't be a problem for anyone. They ask you to put in each "session" you play. Instead, I inserted my beginning $ amount for each day, in the "buy in" amount, then for the "cash-out" amount I entered the end of day total. :)

That's pretty cool!
How did you get the image into the forum though? It seems to be a flash application, not a graphic?

Day 11: 250% ($4,996)
Day 12: 265% ($5,291)
Day 13: 302% ($6,030)

I played both cash games and SNGs, did pretty well overall.

I love SNGs, but I'm starting to run into a problem. With this bankroll, I'd normally want to play $200 SNGs. However, Ongame apparently doesn't have enough players at this level because the tournaments virtually never fill up :(

I don't feel like switching to another site, so it's a bit of a predicament. Maybe I'll have to focus on cash games from now and only play multi-table tournaments on the side. I'd hate to miss out on the fast-paced action of SNGs though.

Why do I never learn? I started of on a BAD table, and should have got straight out - but didn't. There were 2 maniacs at the table (one PFR rate over 30%, and the other not far behind). The average VP$IP must have been close to 50%. Sounds like a dream table, but I've played that sort before, and rarely come out in front - more of a lottery that a poker game (or I don't adjust my play appropriately). Anyway, I stayed there too long, and when my brain joined reality and moved tables, I was 15 BB's down. Fortunately, there was plenty of time left, and I maintained my discipline and got it all back - and more besides. Doesn't change the fact that I should have got out earlier though.

If you click the "My Info/Defaults" tab, change "Chart Format" to "Image". Go to the "Summary" tab and select anything else but "Total Earnings", then press go. For some reason it always shows "Total Earnings" in flash, but all of the other options work, and will initially show up in jpg format once you press "go". Make sure the "3-D - NO" drop-down is set, which is next to the go button.
