er, I wouldnt call 50nl micro ent, more like lowstakes................

2+2 disagrees, and they pretty much define how people call these things.

50nl and below are micro stakes, 100 and 200nl are small stakes, 400 to 1knl are mid stakes, and 2knl+ are high stakes.

I stand corrected, im still micro then, no probs with that. but the b2b network call it low stakes, so does fulltilt, go to custom, in cash page.
And I f**king hate 2+2=f**kyou, I had an account there b4 i had one here, but left cause of the d*cksuckers there.

dont change ur betsizing.
there is no need for it (unless you have a very good reason) and it can be an indication that you are playing with scared money

also, quand il y a la pleurs le neige vendu le cordon blue !

its something i learned, not sure if it works, you check to look weak, then bet the turn for 'value', so they put you on an ace or jack, but never a six.
from my time at that table(very short) their ranges hit that flop, pretty hard, so if I was c/r on turn I could get away from it.

enty, yeah, it was scared money, look at it from my point of view, I have 10000 hands for 5nl/10nl in the last 2 months(remember Im a mtt/sng player) and something like 150 hands for 25nl, and none for 50nl, i took the jump cause I'd won like £600 live(fruit machines, lol) and in poker this weekend, so wanted a shot, but failed to pull the trigger twice in my session when i was probably ahead.
My normal game is 10nl, 5nl if a bit tired, when i feel good i one-table 25nl.
but thanks for the advice guys, its needed

Ugh...I can't get a break today. Running ridiculously bad at SNGs. Getting it in very good most of the time and getting hit by 3-outers. QQ vs AQ, A8 vs A3, etc.

Blah! Bad day at the tables.

well if you actually did have a strong hand here say QQ+ would you bet this flop, I would rarely put you on a 6 here since what 6 would you squeeze but not bet that flop maybe A6 but ISO'ing A6 there is probs pretty bad, but like 67, 68, 56 all bet that flop IMO.

Pretty sure I'm gonna move primarily to playing Omaha Hi/Lo. 1/2-3/6 depending on what is running.

Holdem is just starting to bore me lately.

thanks WV, yeah Im gonna get some volume at 25nl(when I say volume I dont mean like you lot of crazy 10-tablers, putting in the hours, my volume is 2 tabling 25nl for an hour here and there) till Im comfortable with losing/winning at that level(hopefully winning) and see what happens, I'm real comfortable with 5nl/10nl at the mo, though.

bookmark, I also need help!

In other news, played small league live game last night, 2 tables of 6 players, top3 get money. First time I've played this league, so was donking a bit. Guy on my right was sh*t, and was talking up his poker prowess(I think he had a small dick) so I was pushing him off hands al night, showed him 84os after 4-betting him, etc, trying to tilt him(he was loudmouth). Anyway, one hand, he's sb, Im bb, everyone else folds, he raises to 3xBB, oh, we were deep, blinds at 50/100, I had 9000 chips, he had 6000, so anyway, I look at QTs, and think, let's see a flop, so I call, flop comes 89Jrainbow, for my nut straight. He bets, I reraise(had been reraising him all night), he shoves, I snap-call. He shows QJ, for top pair and gutshot, I show my straight, and turn and river are blank for him. He stands up and calls me a c*nt, and offers me outside, ffs. I laugh and say, ffs mate, it's a £10 freezeout, f*ckoff out of my face. we're both stood up, sizing each other up(I hate fighting, particularly over a hand at poker) but will defend myself if needed, his mate comes over to calm it down, my mate(6ft tall and looks like a nutter) stands next to me, thinking the other guy is gonna join in, but it all gets defused by tournament director(landlady of pool hall where it was held). He stormed off for 10 minutes, but did come back and apologised for his behaviour, and shook my hand, lol. And nothing more was said. In the end I came 6th of 12, cold deck, but it was great fun. This guy who lost it, I hope he's there next week, gonna raise him all night with ATC, just to see if I can tilt him again, lol!
Funny old game, poker, brings out the best in people!

wow, just had to check my mtt/sngs ROI% for a site that's want's to pay all my buy-ins for them, and split the winnings 50-50, and these are the figures, I know this is egotisitical, but Im impressed!, 865 played, for a combined ROI% of 264, even without the B2B outrageous figure, its still 860 played for a ROI% of 104.5!:

wish I could sindri, but I work 5 nights a week, plus 2 hours commute a night, so only really play at weekends, even then that's time permitting, married and all that.
Tbh I've never really thought about the money, poker's always been a fun pastime for me, to win money is a real nice bonus, but I just like to play.
That's why Im getting into cash, cause I do get the odd halfhour/hour here and there in the week, ideal for cash play.

Crap, didn't realise I'd hit 5000 posts, thought I was near to doing it, but not yet, best I organise a game/thread with prizes thing to celebrate it!

nah dude trust me you want to hack into easy mode and cruise along. hard mode gives you KK vs AA a lot and then youre forced to make soul reads and yell "i can dodge bullets baby"
